I am new to Tiger Nuts and the first brand I ordered seemed to have the shell removed - they were lighter in color and softer. I will go back to ordering those as I prefer them a bit softer. I will likely grind these into flour.

I was concerned biting into tiger nuts, thinking I might break a tooth. They are so hard. I stopped eating them.
