Larabar Pecan Pie, Gluten Free Vegan Fruit & Nut Bar, 1.6 oz Bars, 16 Ct

These are a nutritious low calorie treat for in-between meals. They are usually delivered in a box and always intact inside their own package. However, it was fortunate to be home and retrieve the envelope off the porch at arrival. The box of bars was completely in pieces with bars loose inside the envelope.

I've never had Larabars before I bought these and gluten free snack bars are hit and miss. I have food allergies and I can't eat a lot of things that you could pick up at the grocery stores, a lot of my Amazon Pantry purchases supplement the things I can't find to eat at my local stores. If you don't get Amazon Pantry I highly recommend it; the money I save is well worth it, and a case of these would have put me out on the street to get at a normal store.The product is sort of like a super moist pecan brownie-ish treat. The taste is both sweet and nutty, but not overwhelming in either taste. I can see how the texture may not be to the liking of many but I urge you to try it first before discounting it, this was really beyond my expectations. Totally yummy!

These are my absolute favorites ever....I grew up on Fig Newtons and these are like just eating the centers! Wow! A date-lovers dream come true. No added sugars either. Not the cheapest, but price per bar isn't too bad.

I love Larabars and I love to try all the flavors. My favorites include apple pie, coconut cream, chocolate chip cookie ... this is now one of my least favorites. The only flavor I could really experience was greasy pecans. I wouldn’t waste my money on this one unless you have already tried it and enjoy it.

Great tasting, easy on the body. So good to have a naturally sweet snack instead of something loaded down with cane sugar. Nice texture. Chewy.

My original title was 'Pecan Pie my @55". The only thing these bars have in common with pecan pie is they both have pecans. This bar tastes like a fig newton style cookie and nothing like pecan pie. The figs over power the pecans to the point they don't taste like pecans at all. Extremely unhappy as these are not cheap and I am on a very tight budget so I will have to choke them down anyhow.
