I LOVE all Simple Mills products, and the chocolate cake is no different! It is so delicious and fool proof! Such an easy and clean option for gluten free. I made it for my son’s birthday party and no one even knew it was GF! Everyone complimented that it was so moist! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a gluten-free alternative; and this fit the bill nicely. They were easy to bake and quite tasty.

It is SO hard to get my son to eat anything outside of snack foods and dry cereal as he is supremely picky about what he eats. I do my best to provide healthy, whole foods or minimally processed foods for my family and was delighted when I tried this muffin mix from the store recently and my son LOVES them (both Pumpkin and Banana)! The only problem is they are $8 in the store so I was even more delighted when I found out I could get them for about half that on Amazon subscription! This mix couldn't be easier to make (just add water, a few eggs and 1/3 C of your choice of oil (I have tried EVOO, macadamia nut and avocado oils and have found that my favorite flavor profile is macadamia nut or EVOO or half and half - avocado oil doesn't work or taste as good with these - just trust me), the muffins are so yummy and I love that they use a minimal, almond flour based ingredient list. The only thing that would make them better in my opinion is if they ditched the sugar and instead used Stevia or Monkfruit as sweetener. If they made a version with no added sugar it would be a home run for me! I actually add a couple tablespoons of monkfruit to the mix and think it tastes even better that way. I also like to add a few Lily’s chocolate chips to put them over the top taste wise. However, if you’re going to do that, my advice is to bake them for 5-10 minutes FIRST and then add the chips. If you add them before baking at all, they will sink to the bottom of the muffin pan.Even still, I love this mix as it is and I love that I can get it so much cheaper on Amazon than in the store! This will be part of my monthly order from now on!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for this. Feel free to ask any questions!

The muffin mix tastes ok- I have to live on a vegan, wheat free, whole grain diet. I made these, added apple sauce for sweetness and box made 12 small muffins. Texture wasn’t like regular muffins and the sweetness tasted artificial . I ate one, my husband ate one - chickens got the rest.

Originally bought at the grocery store, but quickly realized these would become a regular favorite. I thought the blend of spices was spot on and complemented the banana beautifully…come to find out it must just be high quality cinnamon, no other spice is listed!I will say I figured I’d have to add bananas—you do not, they’re already in the mix…so great to have on hand esp when you’re out of ripe bananas but have that craving.

Of all the muffin mixes I have ordered lately this is the only one I like. Here's a hint: add 1/2 cup applesauce to the mix. Use milk instead of water and bake for about 35 minutes for a great, moist muffin!

I took this cake to church so anyone with gluten or dairy intolerances could have something with their coffee. It was a hit. People who liked almonds really enjoyed it too.

Somehow, and I don't know how, I fooled myself in ordering, whilst mixed up with the idea there were more that a single package in my deal! Mymistake yed, but I have difficulties to forgive myself ordering for that matter??!!
