This was a great maca supplement for energy. Generally I don't feel different between different manufacturers but on this one I felt a slight improvement over others. I like how clean and crisp the packaging is. I also like that it's shiny and red. And I think that may be a psychological thing that made me feel like my 'red Maca' is working better than other Macas in the past.The flavor was fine - I mean you just swallow it. But sometimes with other capsules I've ad they can get stuck in your throat and then you cough Maca powder up like you are Puff the Magic Dragon or something. That didn't happen with this.All in all really good. I have been a huge fan or maca since visiting Peru, and this product meets my needs. The capsules are convenient when I travel, but I can also open the capsules and put the powder in a smoothie. Two capsules provide 1,900 mg of maca, which is a goodly amount that gives me the desired effect. This product is also USDA organic and according to the label, does not contain magnesium stearate, a lubricant for capsule manufacturing which I prefer to avoid. I also like that is provides a spectrum of maca types.
