Very easy installation not sure why some reviews claim otherwise. The band is plenty long actually longer than the stock band. Not sure if WC has made a change in their designs but the band installs very easily due to its length and you don’t even need to stretch it at all. Only thing is the holes on it are tighter than the stock ones which is actually a good thing but just pinch around the holes with your fingertips or nails and they go in fairly easily took me less than 2-3mins to install them.The band itself is smoother than the stock ones and it’s made out of soft silicone which won’t slide off of your head like the stock ones tend to do and it also feels much cooler and look better as well. The silicone material they used is of high quality and it doesn’t seem like it would ever wear out. Overall my money was well spent!

So initially I ran into an issue of receiving the wrong product. It seems somehow I ended up with the a used product not even of the same color or style. But customer support was absolutely amazing and after a few questions they sent me the correct band no charge and very quickly.The band is way higher quality than the default one. Very worth the price as it offers a much thicker security in your head. I found it more comfortable with this material feeling much cooler as well. And it makes my set look much more personalized!

So much nicer than the stock one that comes with it, I am bald so it is so much smoother and cooler sitting on top of my head.. I would buy another one if this ever wears out but it probably won't because it feels durable.

Bought the WC headband to match the WC Freeze earpads for my Arctis Nova 7x. It matches the pads perfectly and feels nice but has a few issues that have me conflicted. First is that it just sits differently than the standard band and neither setting makes the headset feel tight on my head like it used to. Secondly is the thinker silicone is just a bitch to put on. I can swap my original within seconds if I wanted. The WC took quite a bit of effort just to go on.

This is now the second product that I have had to purchase from Wicked Cushions to correct the most expensive, and simultaneously the worst high end headset I have ever purchased. I am very thankful that this company exists because they're doing what SteelSeries should have done from the beginning. This strap and the Ear Cushions are more than worth their cost.

This is one of the few features I appreciate about the current SteelSeries line up, and Wicked Cushions hits a home run with this aftermarket upgrade. I zip-tied mine to my Audio-Technica ATH-G1which are an otherwise terribly uncomfortable headset. You buy these for the drivers, not the comfort. And then you make them comfortable.

As part of the installation video, the new headphone design has smaller holes in order to make it super secure and not pop out. This is all great and all but it's extremely difficult to install. I tried to push it with my fingers as well as to try a blunt object. The only thing that worked for me was to stretch the holes out a little bit more by poking a pen into them wide enough so I could then use my fingers to apply pressure again. This is terrible design marketed as a positive. It's marked as being a matter of applying pressure and eventually it will fit, but this was extremely not really doable - my hands are in pain currently so I can't imagine how older people or people with arthritis would remotely be able to use this product. Using my pen trick worked eventually but unfortunately it teared the silicon partly near one of the holes further making me altogether frustrated. I don't see how I could have installed it without using a pen to stretch the holes and even doing so ended up damaging the product so it's a Lose Lose situation that I can't even return.

I love it. Sometimes it slips but it’s not nearly as bad as the fabric ones that come with the headset. Also, the holes are a little small but with some pressure it snaps right on.
