I got this for my daughter as a surprise present for completing her chore chart. She absolutely adores it. The quality is pretty nice and it's super cute. It's held up extremely well considering she's 4. I hope she holds onto it for a long time and cherishes it. So far it's looking like she will! :)

This is a very cute jewelry box for a young child....say....under 10. I think as kids age, they want someone a little nicer or bigger. I hesitate to call this a jewelry box since the inside is one open compartment, instead of individual cubbies to hold earrings, necklaces, etc. The colors are bright and the music is cute. you wind it up, then open it to find a unicorn figure spinning around in front of a mirror.The box itself is a bit small, but since it's for kids, it works ok. The material of the box seems a bit cheap though. It does have glossy graphics but I think the box is cardboard or something like that. I don't think it will last really long in most kids hands due to this. But the price is reasonable for this quality.

The music box arrived in an undamaged carton which contained the music box which was packed into it's own very pretty box. Our musical jewelry box with it's dancing (spinning) unicorn is a well made delight. It is surprisingly well made, the colors are cheerful and go well with the decor of any little girls room. The music is soft, and cheerful. Loud enough to hear, yet not intrusive. One of our littles saw the music box and thought it was her birthday gift. (It was not her birthday) and immediately reached for it. She loved it quickly filling it with her treasured trinkets. When shown how to wind up the musice box she was amazed and spend the rest of the afternoon playing with the music box, listening to the musice, and watching the "dancing unicorn" I did not expect much of this music box and am happy to say that I was surprised at the workmanship and quality as well as the sound of the music it has. This is a small bright cheerful little box that will delight the lucky child who receives it. We have ordered more for the other little girls. I believe it will hold up well and last as a childs jewelry box, treasure box, hair clip or other special items stored in it. This will make a wonderful gift for young girls on any occassion.

This is a smaller box that works well for a young child as their first jewelry box. I ordered it for a 3 year old and she was immediately intrigued with winding up the unicorn and then opening the box to see it rotating in front of the little mirror inside. There is a sweet little song that plays - I can't recognize it as a tune I'm familiar with, but it is catchy. The exterior of the box seems to be made of a cardboard that perhaps has a plastic coating since it is somewhat shiny and decorated with chubby unicorns. Hence, the 4 stars versus 5 as I think the box is somewhat overpriced for cardboard fabrication despite being really cute and something a little girl will enjoy using.

This is a perfect jewelry box for my 7 year old granddaughter who loves unicorns. It's a nice small size with a mirror and a little plastic unicorn that spins when you open the lid. It's easy to wind and the music is a nice melody. There aren't any compartments inside but she can keep some of her bigger jewelry inside and help her to stay organized.
