Excellent Spin Bike for the Money - Review Updated 4.4.2023
Pros:Excellent value for price.Well built, sturdy, and comfortable.Easy set up.Easy to use.Looks very professional.Very, very quiet when in use.ConsThe computer is functional, but that's about it. There is no instruction manual, but it can be easily figured out. No Bluetooth so you cannot use Zwift. The Level Indicator is dicey. I push the resistance lever down for greater resistance and you feel it, but the indicator still reads Level 1. If you really crank it down you will get Level 6, but then it jumps around from 1 to 6. It also beeps a lot intermittently for no discernible reason. I find myself using the RPM meter to have some idea what level I am at. That is the only complaint I have about this product.Update: Maybe the unit need to be broken in, but the resistance indicator and the "beeps" are working just fine now. The unit tells you what resistance level you are at and it beeps when you move between levels. I have nothing negative to say about this product. It is a fantastic spin bike at a very reasonable price!

10 stars!!!
Received my spin bike yesterday, and the hardest part about it was getting it up the stairs into my trailer by myself. It is pretty heavy folks, so bring a friend if you can to help you with it. Having said that, I will tell you that I assembled it by myself, and it was fairly easy. It was packed incredibly well and took a while just to get everything out of the box. I assembled it in about an hour from delivery to finish. Got on it today and it is amazing! I am only using the LCD Consol right now but it started right up with no issues and it’s easy to use. You get beeps on the console as you change your resistance to let you know where you are which is awesome! Some have said that the saddle is too hard but I disagree and think it is perfect. This bike is ultra quiet. And built like a beast. I got a great workout on it and when I was finished, I gave it the once over to check all the screws, etc. The pedals had to be tightened, I must not have tightened them enough, and everything else took about a half turn to tighten. I think it’s prudent to check something like this after assembly. I probably should have checked it before I went on my ride, but all is well. Amazing price for this bike for what it does and how it looks and feels. Definitely happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting to get into spinning.

Surprisingly good Zwift machine for the money
I’ve had this for two months now, using it almost every day. As my header suggests, I got it to use with the Zwift app. My previous setup was a bike with a wheel-on trainer and I was looking for something that would be quieter, smoother and would not require me to put it together and take it apart each time I used it, since I bike in my living room in front of the TV. Short review is that the Bancon has satisfied all these requirements and has been better than I expected. Longer review:Pros:Mine came well packed and was easy to put together. Both the written instructions and Youtube video are clear and accurate.Once assembled properly, it’s very solid with no wiggle in the seatpost or handlebars. Note: one review said the seatpost would fall down, but this is impossible if properly installed. There is a bolt that goes through a hole in the seatpost to hold it in place.Very easy to roll into place in front of the TV and then back to the corner when done.Smooth and quiet (at least I don’t hear anything over the fan noise).Connects quickly to Zwift and stays connected – I’ve had no drops while using it.Zwift reads this bike as a power meter so you get the lightning bolt icon next to your name, which means you are eligible for racing and won't be disqualified for using zPower.Cons:Only eight “gears”. Note: the lever actually changes the resistance smoothly, there are no click-stops. The eight levels are just indicated by the display beeping each time the software notes enough change in the lever. But the biking apps use those levels to jump your power reading. There seems to be a cap on your power reading at 427w, which won’t win you any sprints in Zwift. I say it’s capped because in eighth gear that’s what I hit at 120rpm. If I go up to 130rpm, the reading stays at 427. This is fine with me, but might bug some sprinters.Other notes:I’m 6’1” with a 33” inseam and have the seatpost all the way up. If you’ve got a longer leg, you might need an adapter to raise the saddle.I just keep the display on the gear reading, since all the other information displays in Zwift. With a phone this works well since you can have it in the tray and still see the display. With a tablet, the display would be blocked.I tried it briefly with Kinomap and Wahoo RGT and it works the same as in Zwift (in Kinomap it’s known as the Shua B599). All the apps use the same algorithm to determine your power.

Computer broke, no longer able to shift gears
The computer that shifts the gears on this bike went all wonky on us and now is stuck in the first gear only. Nice looking bike and functioned well besides this. Just wish it was manual to switch the gears and not reliant on the computer..

Nice quality, sturdy and quiet.
It was easy to assemble, but quite heavy... you'll probably want help getting into the house. Assembly is relatively easy and the instructions pretty simple to follow. I do recommend a little blue thread locker for everything except the pedals (grease on those threads). Plopped in front of the TV, I've put a couple hundred (indicated) miles on it and a m quite happy with it. Quiet and smooth, nothing has come loose or changed. Comes very well packed, even has sacrificial tubing bolted to the bottom (needed it, both a little bent, bike unharmed), you'll spend a good amount of time unboxing :) Magnetic resistance works pretty well and the little cyclometer will beep when you change levels. Wish there were a few more levels as I find myself switching back and forth looking for the goldilocks position. Seat is acceptable and overall position is pretty road bike-ish, wish the bars could adjust backwards like the seat post. Overall, very pleased with it. Recommended as a low cost exercise bike. NO, I did not bother with the 'app' or try linking it to any programs. Phone/tablet slot is a bit narrow at <1/2", so armored phones/tabs may not fit, galaxy tab just won't fit with case.
