This could have been a 5-star review because I think these little lights are great. Lightweight, versatile, and fairly bright for the price. I use them on my handicapped dog's cart for night-time walking. Both the red and white lights are very visible from a distance of at least 2 blocks (maybe more but that's as far as I've gotten from them). The white lights are bright enough to mildly illuminate the path directly in front of my dog so he can see a bit more clearly the ground in front of him. These are NOT as bright as flashlights though (nor did I expect them to be).Minus 2 stars because one of the red lights was defective. The button didn't work properly. It would take many presses to turn the light on, then many more presses to turn it off, until finally the button stopped functioning completely and the light wouldn't turn off at all. Still would have left 5 stars had the seller replaced the 1 red light as he promised in an email.I wouldn't go as far as to discourage anyone from buying this product since the functional lights do seem to be a good product so far (have used the white lights for about 3 weeks now). But I would say definitely start using all of them right away for a few days at least so you can catch any defect before the return window runs out. Reading some of the other reviews, it seems like the red lights have more of a tendency to be faulty. Maybe a bad batch.UPDATE: Increased rating because the seller contacted me after reading my review and resolved the issue. Having had these lights for about 2 months now, I am still deducting the 1 star because the batteries that came with the light seem to be inconsistent.I used the 2 white lights together. After a couple of weeks, 1 light went dim while the other is still going strong.I also used one of the red lights very periodically. That died surprisingly quickly. I used the blinking setting on that one--maybe that's why?Anyway, I expected the original batteries to last longer than they did. But since seller refunded my payment, I can't really complain. I'll just leave with this -- when they work, the lights are awesome!

Cheap safety insurance for everyone who rids. Keep a few extra around, or on your bike just in case. Both the red and white have the same brightness and light modes: On, flash, and strobe. The white have ultra-bright white LED's, and the red have ultra-bright red LED's. They are rubbery and easily attache to any part of a bike. They are bright enough to be used as a headlight.

My two younger brothers and I ride our bikes at night. The bicycle lights worked great. They were very, very bright and I could tell drivers and people noticed us. Unfortunately, ONE of the white lights DID NOT lit up 😞 By all means this an excellent product! And will probably buy again. I do not want to return since my two brothers love them. I just hope all the bicycle lights would have been tested prior to shipment. I Will update rating soon.Update 7/28/17Today I received one set of the bicycle lights! ! All 4 are working perfectly. Seller responded promptly to my review and now my brothers and I are happy!. I will be doing business with seller in the future if needed, and will refer them to anyone who asks me where I got these bicycle lights from. Thank you again seller.

I installed the two red ones on the rear of an adult trike. They are fairly bright, especially with two of them. Nice advantage with two is that one can be set for steady "on" with the other one in one of the two flash modes.The black clear ones are bright and are good enough for the front of a bicycle, especially if using both. These give of enough light for slow to moderate speed. If you want to ride fast in the dark, then invest in a brighter light.

First off, the Malker Bicycle Lights arrived as promised. I was looking for a bike light that would be easy to maintain and give good vision at night for both me, to see the road, and vehicle drivers, to be able to see me. Then I came across the Malker Bicycle Light and found 4 lights for the price of one. The best part is that I now have two front lights, and two back lights thus making sure I can see and be seen!The two white lights are the front facing lights and are very bright. I usually use one on flash mode and the other on beam.The two red lights are rear facing and are red in light color. They too are very bright and can bee seen from a distance. I put them both on flash.So now I have many lights to see and be seen, and a negligible amount of weight added to my bicycle.

I ordered these as a way to increase visibility on my kids bikes. For less than $4 a bike I figured it was a good deal. We used them the other night and they worked great. Although the front light (black) is not meant to be a full headlight it produces enough light to be able to see for about 8-10 feet in front of you. We rode on a bike path that had lighting conditions that were well-lit, low-light and dark (no lights nearby). I could easily tell where my kids were whether they were far in front or far behind me. And it is obvious (due to the speed/motion etc) that the lights are on a bicycle, which is why I bought them. So that other cyclists and especially motorists could see my kids coming. Both lights are very bright and feature "On" and "flashing" modes. If you are looking for a little safety and insurance or just a way to keep track of the others you are riding with then these are a no brainer. If you are looking for a classic bicycle "headlight" to light your path far ahead of you then you should look at something else.It should be noted that installation is an absolute breeze. It takes about a second and the material feels like it will last a long time. These can quickly and easily be removed from a bike and put on scooters, strollers or really anything else that has a tube that it can be wrapped around.So far these really are fantastic little lights, especially for the price.I will update the review once the batteries die out. That way I'll have an idea about how long they truly last and the ease and cost of changing them.

There wasn't a second time needed to use them while raining. They're dead... R.I.P

1 of the 4 didn’t work out of the box. The ones that do work are bright and have several modes. Would give a higher star rating if all of them worked.

The 3 that worked were very bright and seemed like they might do the job, but the 4th one didn't turn on and came apart into pieces while I was trying to get it to work. Very low quality materials and I can't imagine the others would last. I returned this immediately. Would not buy again.

Ordered 4 - one of them isn’t working well - will never send back or ask my money back as it’s a lengthy process for few cents. Took 45 days to arrive!!!Will not order it again
