This iron works well and the stamp is of good quality. The wooden box is sturdy and attractive. This was a present for my father and he is very happy with it. Customer service from Ashley was very good. Shipping company sent confusing messages and indicated it was lost in shipping, but it did come a few weeks later.

The iron works perfectly, and my custom logo was exactly what I wanted! Dial in the temperature for the perfect brand, no matter what you're doing it on. I recommend!!

I ordered this branding iron and a custom brand. The brand iron is great and exactly what I wanted. The 1st heating element that came with it didn't work. After some communications with the seller, I received a new heating element that works fine. I appreciate the effort they made in making the purchase a good one. I would have rated this 5 star, but the instructions state heat to 350-380 for wood, which the new unit does heat up nicely, but at that temperature, the wood doesn't even show a burn or scorch or anything. I need to heat it up to 500 before it works on the wood I'm using (oak).

Great personalized branding iron!Takes about 4-5 minutes to heat up and presto, my initials on my projects.Very cool indeed.

It stopped working in just 2 months. I'll try to just order the handle since I already have the stamp. The quality of the stamp was very good though. The electric part just didn't last.

This is my first branding iron I had bought to mark my wood work items. Right out of the box the directions were for a different branding iron, so they were not very helpful. The iron did not screw all the way down on the heating rod, but it still worked. The light on the heating element was not very good, very glitchy and could not seem to make up its mind. With no instructions, I assumed that once the light went off the brand was to temperature.The first few brands (on cedar) were very nice and crisp, but as I did more items they began to blur and not all of the brand would transfer to the wood. One word to my American friends, the heating thermostat is in Celsius, luckily google has an easy converter, and it seemed to work best when turned all the way up anyway.Again, this is my first brand, and my issues may be common, but the heating element seems to not be very consistent, and I am a little disappointed. Not sure if I would buy again or not, if I have to buy again, I will probably go with a more expensive unit, at least for the heating unit.
