Great read, my daughter really enjoyed reading this

As young adult fiction this is such an accessible way of exploring human nature and unfairness. Author uses known myths in combination with logic and modern psychological awareness.

Great book. Good as a series and really enjoyed it. Good present if u love Disney.

If you like magic with complex, convoluted rules and systems, complicated storylines with lots of different actors and players and most importantly if you want to see 'Sleeping Beauty' told from a whole new perspective, then I do recommend this particular instance of Valentino's 'Villain Series'. I also recommend watching the associated film just before to keep the details of the Disney original fresh in your memory (you'll be able to notice more connections that way).My only quip is with the writing itself which I felt could have been much stronger. It often reads like a tale for fairly young children (repetitive descriptions, simple language, lots of telling as opposed to showing) which doesn't do the originality of Valentino's co-creation justice.

I already watched the movie, so i needed the book aswell. Its good and very intresting.

Quando ho comprato questo libro non credevo che mi sarebbe piaciuto così tanto. Rispetto agli altri racconti, questo mi ha coinvolto sin da subito. L'autrice ha saputo sfruttare con arguzia le vicende raccontate alternando i fatti conosciuti ad elementi nuovi e sorprendenti. L'aspetto che più mi ha colpito é stato il risvolto introspettivo di tutti i personaggi coinvolti. Esattamente come gli altri racconti, anche questo ho preferito comprarlo in inglese divorandolo in un giorno. Consiglio a tutti gli appassionati di leggerlo il prima possibile!!
