This is an initial review. I have not had the optic long enough to comment on long-term reliability. The optic looks and feels good. The glow-in-the-dark feature lines up with the rear sight and the break in the optic circle, giving multiple reference points to get a good sight picture. The price for a closed emitter is in the range of some of the upper mid-tier open dots. If it holds up, I will be getting more of these.

Mine was junk. When inserting the battery I pulled out the tray and a copper battery connector just fell out. Would not power up after that obviously. I would stay away. No more Meprolight for me.

I have a few hundred rounds with this optic. So far the optic is functioning really well. I have tested out all the reticle options and to my surprise I like the dot only (i have always had a bullseye preference on optics.) Zeroing the optic was extremely easy and so far optic has held zero. Have drop tested, smeared with mud, submerged in water and optic is still running as designed.This optic has held up well and I expect it to continue to. I have pruchased the other models for testing and hope to get the same results from all of the optics.I run meporolight night sights and a few of their rifle red dots, wanted to try the new pistol optics out. Holosun makes a great product, this looks like it might be the best competitor yet. Offers multi reticle, great battery life, backed by Israel. We will see how this continues to run.
