A really gorgeous book, beautifully illustrated and with a fantastic range of women to learn about. I often take this book into schools where I am working and get lots of compliments from the teachers.

I got this book as a present for my niece and unfortunately it arrived with a ripped cover. However I've updated my review to 4 stars as Amazon dealt with this straight away. The inside the book is well illustrated and presented for children.

I bought this as a gift and glancing through it found it to be very inspirational. I very much like the way this book highlights famous women throughout history and their achievements. I would recommend it as an excellent book for young people and girls in particular. It allows young people to aspire.

I am really enjoying this book! There are so many stories I have never come across before and all celebrate what women have done and can do - it encourage all women to follow their dreams.

I got this book for my little sister, who is 9, to practice reading more informative texts. It has been inspirational, educational, and overall a lovely book for both of us. Not only is the writing appropriate for her age, but it challenges her more than her usual books (which is great).Our favorite part of this book is the quotes included with each woman. It presents a first-person insight that ties the story altogether. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to gain insight into the women that have influenced our world (especially to young future leaders).
