Brilliant book & written so well
I found the book gripping & couldn't put it down. Sarah is an absolutely fantastic person for getting through what she did & the hurdles she & her family (including Nadia)had to over come. I've told all my friends & family about Sarah as I am very proud of her & what she's overcome & they too will be reading the book. I work with Sarah & even to this day she is still very modest about what she went through.......

Not a bad book
Well written, a bit slow in places but gives a great insight into the plight of mothers who have had their children taken away.It also shows up not to put your trust in people who say they can get your child back for thousands of pounds just wonder why she has not reported this person to the police fraud squad after loosing so much money for little service, also interesting reading on how the British embassy dealt with her case. Well worth a read.

Amazing book
I couldn't put this book down and was hooked by the end of the first chapter. I could feel myself becoming frustrated at the red tape Sarah found herself up against and those who took advantage of her situation, but her determination to get her little daughter back never faltered and I found myself in floods of tears by the end of the book. I passed it on to my daughter who doesn't normally read books and told her to give it a go. She finished it in one session and her early to bed routine went out the window as she burned the midnight oil to finish it. A wonderful book by a truly amazing lady.

A well written account of an unbelievably complex experience.
I am not a fast reader but got through this book in record time. Even turned off the TV to read more. An awe inspiring account of Sarah's successful repatriation of her daughter from a deceitful, compulsive lying husband, who used his family and nationality to keep his daughter a captive in Lybia for 3 long years. Sarah's ability to rally the support and intervention of some of the most powerfully placed people in the UK and Lybia is truly remarkable and demonstrates what can be achieved with determination against all the odds. She should be very proud of herself and hopefully her daughter will be when she is old enough to fully understand how fortunate she is to have Sarah for a mum and such a supportive family.

A real roller coaster of a read!
Sarah, I can hear your voice telling your story through the pages of this book! I read it on my way home from England on the plane and could not put it down...I devoured every word, and am truly in awe of you for everything you did to get Nadia back. Having known your family for around 25 years and knowing how close you all are, it came as no surprise when during my read I felt such warmth and love. It must have been so good to have had that feeling around you while you were going through your own personal hell, not only after realising Nadia had been taken but during that tough time in your marriage when you were willing to give yet another chance to the man who made the ultimate betrayal. To anyone reading this and considering buying this book, go ahead and order it NOW! You will not find a more honest and real account of sheer bravery and guts anywhere else. They say that things happen for a reason. Sarah, while I don't know what the reason was for Nadia's abduction, I do know that what you went through in your formative years was essential to give you the spirit that you needed during those dark times both here and in Libya. I take my hat off to you and am proud to have you and Nadia as my friends. xxxxxxxxxx

Took a bit longer to arrive, but arrived in a perfect condition and I read this book in one evening. One of the most fascinating stories I read about parental abduction

Amazing story of mother's love to her daughter
A wonderful story of amazing mother's love to her daughter. The book doesn't only show what mother is able to do for her child but also focus on the problem of kidnapping a child by a parent from other country and religion, which has been becoming more and more common in nowadays's society.
