No strong odors, but as I do with anything I place in my aquariums, I soaked them in a vinegar-water solution and rinsed will before placing in tank.I really like the looks of these plants. They are super easy to place and the weights on the bottom are heavy enough to hold them in place. The final pic. of how they look at one end of my 210 gallon tank. They are soft, so I am not worried about a fish hurting themselves by brushing against them. I have a lot of younger fry fish in this tank and they seem to like hanging out inside of it, like seagrass in the wild.I am very pleased with this product and give it 2 thumbs up for value, quality and appearance .

These were just perfect for our new fish tank. We wanted to add greenery, but also wanted a more realistic look. These fit the bill and description perfectly! Easy to clean and a great value overall.

I like my aquascape to be mostly natural, but when i have had trouble with plants thriving, i like having some artificial ones too. That way there is a place for fry and shrimp to hide out. These are pretty good looking.They have a very good base on them that stays put in the substrate. They provide a lot of surface area for a beneficial biome to grow.The plastic is pretty soft. It doesn't really flow in the water column, but it also isn't as stiff as some other kinds of decorations. Looks pretty good. It should not bee too scratchy for some delicate creatures.UPDATE after 2 months: I have upgraded my opinion to 5 stars. After just a short time in my healthy aquarium, these look completely natural. A bit of fluffy, filament-type growth happens on the leaves of these plastic plant balls, and it looks great. Now my Neocaridina shrimp have spawned in these, too. Then the babies hang out in these specifically, feeding on the little growths and hiding in the plant, until they are big enough to leave and go out into the rest of the tank.Also, these STAY PUT. Great base, does not float up, and all the parts have stayed attached to each other.

picked this up for my 36 gallon bow front. Once in the water they look as good as the real ones. fish like them. Pre-rinse them

This was so cute and works perfectly. My fish also seem to love it and it works well in my aquarium as well.
