HunterWomen's Original Short Gloss Rain Boots

Love these boots! very comfortable, attractive look and the price is awesome

The boots are very nice and beautiful. I wear a size 8 med in most footwear. My daughter-in-law owns a pair and we wear the same size so I tried on her boots with thick socks. They felt comfortable so I ordered my normal size (8 US size) though I read many reviews that mentioned size running bigger. When boots arrived I put on with thick socks and immediately questioned myself if I should have sized down :(. I walked around the house with boots on, hoping I would feel differently. The other issue I have is that my calves, though not fat, they are more muscular causing me not to wear higher boots. Thought I could get away with mid/low calve boot. I should say the boots are NOT tight in the calve area and I could fit two fingers space in this area at calve area, however, for me it was too close for comfort. So I knew I would not be comfortable sizing down to a 7. So I returned.

Be sure you check the size before you buy! The first pair I bought were a size 5...a mistake on my part because I didn't recheck my order before I placed it....bummer.The second pair I ordered were just right! Perfect, true to size! I have the tall gray ones as well. I like these better because they aren't too tight on my calves like the gray ones. These sit right at the beginning of the calf so they are Perfect. They're cute AND they keep the water off of my tootsies.

I get a ton of compliments on these boots. When middle school girls compliment your shoes- it’s a feeling of affirmation. Not the warmest but definitely waterproof

Great rain boots. They fit perfect and are very comfy. Light weight, thus good for walking. The wide shaft is awesome as it‘s adjustable.

I love the glossy shine. Rain slips and slides across the boot. The boot is very comfortable and stable

I was so looking forward to these boots. I wanted a bright pair of red boots as you can see in my picture. The boots are more of a burnt red not the bright red Advertised or like you see inside the box. comfortability wise, They’re good. I just wanted a bright red, not a dull Burnt glossy red. Sending back.

Great condition, great item, I have used hunter wellies before and sort of new what to expect. But, this item exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, looks fabulous, and the heel is very comfortable too as it's slightly curved and moulds to the foot. Unlike my other pair of le chameau that I have been using recently, as the sole is too flat. I believe the hunter brand stands the test of time. The calf area is not so tight so that you can tuck in thicker trousers and thick socks, etc. Its so classic and great quality too. Does what it says on the tin. I would buy this item again. Love my new wellies, fantastic colour, very comfortable and seem sturdy. Really pleased. The only downside is they are made in China!Hunter is a proudly British company, with by appointment prominently displayed on the box, surely it isnt beyond their capabilities to have wellingtons made in GB.
