SOTOMicro Windscreen for Micro Regulator Stove

Just received the wind screen. It fits perfectly on the Soto Stove and should provide a perfect lightweight and bombproof windscreen.About the windscreen:it's a once-piece construction and made of what looks like a thick aluminum or maybe steel. Not sure. It's about 2mm thick throughout. and installs in seconds.Storage is also easy. I can fit a small MSR gas canister, Soto ODR burner and the windscreen in my MSR Titan Kettle.Perfect lightweight kit.**** Update 12/29Just took out the cooker on a hike and stopped off to make some hot chocolate for the kids before we hiked back. The wind screen worked AWESOME!I even blew onto the flame really hard to see if it would go out. Nada, the flame just moved a bit around. Perfect!Additionally, the increase in efficiency was incredible. After cranking the burner all the way up bubbles already started to roll off the bottom of the pot after only 40 seconds. I then turned the burner down to about 50% and had a nice rolling boil at about 4 1/2 minutes. In other words, had I left the burner open all the way the water would have been boiling at around 2 to 2 1/2 minutes flat!Equipment used:GSI Dualist1 liter of waterSoto ODR-1 burnerSoto windscreenMSR gas (small red one)Outside temp about 45 degrees FNot sure how cold the water was, but It came out of my Nalgene bottle that I had in my pack for about an hour and a half for the up-hike.

Windscreen fits like a glove on the Soto Micro-Regulator stove. Should have bought one years ago. Does not really add stability to the stove but you don't need it; you just need this windscreen to shield the flame. Looks great and works as described. If you have this backpacking stove you need this item.

Compact, lightweight, and effective. Makes a pretty good stove great.

Got for new Soto stove which now has four prongs. This is made for a version with three prongs.

A must have with the SOTO stove. Makes it very efficient.

I have lightened up my backpacking gear with the addition of the excellent Soto OD-1R micro regulator stove. It is very efficient and reliable and the Soto windscreen makes the stove perform substantially better in windy conditions. The windscreen weighs just over 1/2 an ounce (19 grams) and, along with the Soto OD-1R stove, makes it the lightest stove/windscreen setup I have seen on the market from any manufacturer. (Please note though that this windscreen *only* works with the Soto OD-1R micro regulator stove and no other brand or model of stove.)

zum Kocher von Solo perfekt und bringt ein wenig mehr gleichmäßige Flamme bei geringer Gasmenge. Ist sehr dickes Material und damit auch gegen Verformung geschützt.
