SolarCentre® Berkeley Outdoor Solar Powered Motion Activated PIR Security Light

This pir motion led down light is absolutely fantastic. This led downlight works all night long with minimal sunlight. And even after afew cloudy days it still works all right long which is great. This light features a huge solar panel covering the whole top of the light itself and has a pit motion senselor attached to the front to detect movement and illuminate any area you desire. It's excellent for security lighting or can be used as a feature light in your garden.l, by installing this on an outside wall or fence. I really like the appearance of this light and being lo g and slim in it's design its very modern looking too. This light can be used for pir motion or at the press of a button can be set to stay on when learning bger times are required. Out of the box this light is really easy to Install as it comes with a back bracket and fixings, so simply screw the back plate in your desired location. Then slot the light onto the bracket and away you go. I would highly reccomed this light and it's great value too thanks so much.

This outdoor solar powered motion activated PIR security light has been a great addition to my garden. It’s really bright and covers a wide area, which is exactly what I needed for extra security. The motion sensor is very responsive, turning on the light as soon as there’s movement nearby. I also love that it’s solar powered, no need to mess around with wiring or batteries. It charges up well during the day, even in cloudy weather, and it stays lit long enough to keep things secure during the night.The only small downside is that the motion sensor can be a bit too sensitive at times, occasionally triggering the light from passing animals or strong wind. It’s not a major issue, but it can be a bit annoying if you're looking for a more precise sensor. Overall, though, it’s a solid and reliable security light that does the job well and is super easy to install.4 out of 5.

The security light is doing well, easy to install and works as described. It detects motion and so dar it seems accurate. The built quality is good. It is bright and seems to last long.

We have multiple sensor and security lights so I feel that I can give a balanced review of this specific product.The first thing you notice out of the box that it looks modern and being just 1 single part it is minimalist.The rectangular unit has 4 main sides (ignoring the 2 ends), in no particular order - 1. the solar panel; 2. the mounting bit; 3. the sensor and switch side; and finally 4. the light panel - the reason I am pointing this out in detail is because each side of the unit has its own specific function - which therefore limits how it can be mounted (unlike other units which have an adjustable mounting point).So when you mount this unit you have to consider - can the sun get to the solar panel side, whilst also ensuring that the sensor side is facing the right direction to detect movement, whilst also ensuring that the light panel side illuminates the area that you need - getting all those 4 points addressed means that we are having to trial this unit temporarily in various locations - and so far we can only get 3 of the 4 correct.Dont get me wrong - I do think that it is a good unit - but the above does mean that it has limitations.The light itself is not a floodlight level - but it does trigger with motion and light up (brightness dependent upon which mode you have selected).That leads onto my other frustration - this unit has 4 modes (as listed in the instructions) but trying to work out which mode it is in (or which mode you want to actually select) is a bit of a challenge.Maybe once we can actually find the ideal location to mount this sensor light I may find it works perfect and I will update my review.

Brilliant garden light. Attached to our summer house on the side wall. It lights up local area really well. Compact and easy to install. I overall its a good product. I would recommend this for as good low maintenance scullion to add a relaxing and practical lightning solution to any outdoor space. the outside build is good and it s modern look gives good impression. Made of good quality plastic/parts. The sensor works as designed.

It will not light up

This is a very easy to install down lighting outdoor light. It took two screws and it was in action. There is a sensor built into it that detects people and as it doesn't stick out very far, I've mounted it by some stairs in the garden. the light coming from it is bright and it has so far not ran out of batteries. time will tell in the winter when the days become shorter and the the light needs to be on longer.

This is a good looking solar light that I installed above our patio door. This means we can see when the cats come and go of an evening, and let them in if need be. It's solar powered so there are no wires to connect to the mains. So far it seems to be charging well during the day and it has four light modes which is handy.It was easy to instal with the supplied screws and rawlplugs, and in situ it looks pretty modern and stylish. I think it's pretty well made but I also do think that it's pretty expensive for a solar powered light made of plastic. Still, I'm happy to recommend it with a 4 star review.
