Nice
I've slept on these pillows for about two months now. They definitely feel like hotel pillows! They haven't lost their fluff yet which is good and are very plush. They tend to keep heat in but cool off quickly once they're not being used (flip is over for a cold side of the pillow!). They are a little too plush for me personally, but my partner loves them, so they're good! There's no smell right out of the package, but they come squished so they need some time to fluff up.

Big, thick pillows!
This is a nice set of oversized pillows. I say oversized because most pillows tend to be on the flatter/softer side. I personally like a bigger, harder pillow so that it lasts longer after I break it in. My husband, who has neck problems, cannot use this pillow. I use the second one as a body/knee pillow. I don't see any difference in cooling between this and most of the other pillows I have though. Still, I like this set of pillows and how full they are.

Comfortable cooling pillows
I really like this set of cooling pillows. They were more comfortable than I had expected and a noticeable cooling effect. They fluffed up well after I got them out of the packaging. Originally I had got these for the guest bedroom but the younger kids liked them, and took them for their own.

Nice and comfortable pillows
I ordered these fine pillows from Modern Threads as we were expecting houseguests who were going to spend a few days with my wife and I. My wife enjoys going above and beyond to make our guests as comfortable as possible, so she left two or three choices of pillows in the guest room closet so they could take their pick. Before we put them in there, however, we tried them ourselves and were impressed by the comfort and "just right" (in my opinion) density of the polyester fiber "down alternative" fill. We also appreciated the luxury feel of the 100% cotton cover, although that may have been of only secondary importance because of course we use them with pillowcases. Nevertheless, they are very nice and quite comfy. We have a King-sized bed in our main bedroom (and the same in our guest room), but we don't typically use the King-sized pillows - so this pair in the Queen size is fine with us. Actually, I think I prefer the Queen to the King.

Large, Soft Pillows
These pillows are decently sized, plenty big for any adult. My head sinks into it in an uncomfortable way. Like, there is virtually no support. It is temperature regulated, which is nice. I might try it to help prop up my legs. Otherwise, I'm not sure how much good they will be. Disappointed.

Softness Takes Getting Used To, But Worth It!
I've been on the hunt for the perfect pillow for a while now, and the Modern Threads Hotel Collection Cooling Pillows caught my eye. The promise of a gel-infused, down alternative pillow that suits all sleeping positions was too good to pass up. I decided to give the 2-pack Standard/Queen size a try, and I have some thoughts.First off, these pillows are soft. Like, really soft. If you're someone who loves sinking into a plush pillow at the end of the day, these might just be your dream come true. The cooling effect is noticeable, which has been fantastic for those warmer nights. I'm a mix of back and side sleeper, and these pillows have been accommodating no matter how I end up.However, I'll admit there was an adjustment period. Coming from firmer pillows, the level of softness took a moment to get used to. At first, I wasn't sure if they were too soft for me. But after a few nights, I started to appreciate the way these pillows cradled my head and neck, providing support without the firm pressure I was accustomed to.One of the standout features for me has been the cooling gel infusion. It genuinely helps keep the heat away, making for a more comfortable sleep throughout the night. Plus, the fact that they are designed for any type of sleeper is a big plus. Whether you're on your back, stomach, or side, these pillows adjust to support you.Overall, the Modern Threads Hotel Collection Cooling Pillows have been a soft, cool addition to my sleep. Despite the initial adjustment period due to their plushness, I've grown to appreciate them. They offer a level of comfort and cooling that I have been missing from my previous pillows. If you're on the fence because of how soft they are, I'd say give them a chance. They might just surprise you with how comfortable they can be.

Robust Yet Comfortable
First I should concede that finding a pillow that's "just right" for anyone is highly subjective because everyone's needs are different. That's why there are so many different types. When I was much younger I injured my left shoulder in a skiing accident that led to corrective surgery on it. Ever since then I've found it very uncomfortable to sleep on my left side. My doctor told me that I should sleep on my right side and use a pillow to prop up my left shoulder while I sleep and I've slept like that ever since. But finding the right pillow to use for that has been difficult. A down filled pillow is too squishy and doesn't provide the support I need. The ones that provide the most support feel like they're filled with foam rubber and while they support my shoulder well enough they aren't very comfortable for anything else. These pillows are "just right" for my needs: very robust yet soft enough to be comfortable on my head while sleeping. They are made from high quality materials and seem to be perfect for me. I love them!
