Avoid this product
Avoid this product. I placed solar panel facing direct sunlight, attached fan and got very mild wind at high speed setting, no fan movement at low speed. The next day, no fan blowing at all on either speed. Some intermittant slow turns in the next few days and then nothing. Troubleshot as directed by seller to no avail. Replaced diiode and wire sent from seller, still no change. Am in process of attempting to return as seller continues to suggest fixes. I did not buy this product to repair it , nor to wait weeks without the use of functioning fan for my 10x10 greenhouse while pointless communications continued . The item should work right out of the box and it should not be the customers responsibility to repair it. Beware of being strung out in maintenance conversation and quick fixes which make the return process more complicated. I spent $59.99 for this item and would recommend others interested such a product look away from this one. Note that one of the photos in the product's amazon site shows the solar panel large enough to cover a van's rear windows, don't be misled.

Mixed feelings
I was working in my Garden 103 degrees. Using umbrella for shade. I placed the solar panel in full sun. Turned the fan to high. Not much air. It blows on my neck and helps some. Very under powered. I would have paid more for faster air.

Works Good Overall. Recommended.
Works good. Fan is adequate to cool you if close by. Speed is OK with solar panel in bright sun or usb (using computer or portable battery bank). Solar panel can also recharge cell phone; battery banks but takes time. Good for the money.

product way smaller than expected
while the item arrived earlier than noted on the website, it is a huge disappointment. When reading the ad, I was expecting a much larger fan and panel for the cost. Will not order this item again and have to continue shopping for a large enough fan for the job it was purchased for.Thumbs down.

Works well for air circulation and low energy draw!
It’s small and quiet and though it’s not crazy powerful it does a good job circulating the air in our van plus being able to hook the usb fan into a power bank is great for night time and has a very low draw so it’ll run for 24hrs on our backup phone chargers!
