The design is also super sleek and compact, making it easy to slip into my backpack or purse.Now, about the effectiveness: I've been using this diffuser for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say that it's been a huge success in keeping mosquitoes away. The natural ingredients are gentle on my skin and the air around me, and I love that it's free from harsh chemicals. The diffuser itself is also very easy to use - simply add a few drops of your favorite essential oil, plug it in, and you're good to go!One of the things that really impressed me was how long-lasting the repellent is. I've been using it for several hours at a time without needing to recharge or reapply. It's also been effective in repelling mosquitoes in a variety of environments, from humid forests to dry deserts.

Was hoping this pretty expensive product would help stave off the onslaught of mosquitoes starting around 6 p.m. every single night, but nope. There are three speeds, low, medium, and high. The low mode cycle is 10 seconds on with 60 seconds off. Medium 20 seconds on with 60 seconds off. High is 30 seconds on with 60 seconds off. As soon as the cycle goes off, the mosquitoes are back, even bringing some of their friends so they can laugh at the feeble attempt of this human to sit outdoors on a cool, late spring night. In order to mitigate the on/off timing, I purchased three and set them up around our sitting area within the "10 foot parameter" as described in the product overview. Laughable for sure. On the plus side, the aroma is pleasant. Will be returning.

I only used this a couple of times, never really could get in the habit of using it. It seemed to work when I did use it, however I'm not entirely sure where I can find refills. It did come with one extra, but I live in South Louisiana which is mosquito central. I haven't been keen on using it, because I'm afraid to run out of the oils. I don't know that it was powerful enough for midsummer in this area, but I am willing to give it another chance if I can find some refill oils for it.

This device is a cordless mosquito repellent diffuser that is portable and cordless. Just charge it with a USB-C charger and install a vial and it is ready to use. Turn on the diffuser and set it to low, medium or high. You can also set it to turn off automatically after 30, 60 or 90 minutes.It does a reasonable job of repelling mosquitoes. If it is very windy, then the repellent will be blown away but the mosquitoes cannot fly in much of a breeze either. It does not cover a huge area but it's perfect if you are sitting around a table on the patio.

I received this when it was advertised as about $65. The product is well-made and sturdy. Comes with extra bottles and feels very durable and solid. For the price, this is what I would expect.In terms of effectiveness, the scents are fine. Some say weak, some say strong. We noticed that when there was a little bit of a breeze that the scents were not strong, but in a more flat wind/no wind, the scents were present but never strong. As a result, we did notice some mosquitoes and gnats (our big two problems) present at all times, with more around when there was wind. The product DID reduce the amount of gnats and mosquitos, particularly mosquitos, as compared to not being used at all. It did NOT completely eliminate them, but it definitely made the outdoors more enjoyable.We live in the woods and there is water nearby in a little pond. So the fact that this was able to reduce the gnats and more significantly reduce mosquitos was a good thing because it was really being tested. I'm not sure there is anything that will completely eliminate these flying bugs, so the product works well although not perfectly.We reduced it by a star because of the price and value, feels like it should be a little better for the price or cheaper. It's expensive, and refills aren't cheap either. The effective area also didn't feel all that large, and unless you were within a chair or two of it, other people who were at the other end of the table (standard 6-person patio table) reported more bugs than the people who were closer. The reason why those people were a little further away was because they did not want the smell/product near them as they were eating, which is a fair point. Again, for this price, you'd expect this product to have a bit larger of an area of protection to at least encompass a standard patio table.Overall, it helped reduce bugs. It did not completely eliminate. It was easy to use. Battery lasted the entire time we were outside each time that we used it. Easy to use and once you have set it up the first time, it is easy to use the next time. Limited range though, and high price -- even on sale (right now listed in the $40s, that still feels expensive). I think we would recommend this product and I think we both believe it is good, but there are some cheaper brands that work effectively too and you can probably get 2-3 units for the price of one of these. Although those other brands require fuel and pads for scent, which are a more expensive refill use than this one. So there are trade offs you need to consider with how big of a space, how many people, how long and how often, and what you are expecting.
