Always the #1 gardening magazine. Wish I had ordered directly from Taunton.
I love Fine Gardening, esp Steve Aiken's letters from the editor . I have subscribed for 20 years but decided to try an Amazon subscription this time. I had to wait over 3 mos for the subscription and then read that my renewal will be automatic., which I do not want, and i don't know how to refute this/who to contact. I wish I had skipped Amazon and renewed directly from Tauntion for better communication about my subscription. Amazon is great but not when it comes to magazine subscriptions.

Great Magazine
I have this subscription for my step-father who has Alzheimer's. He loves his garden, but is no longer able to work in the yard. He looks through the magazine and reminisces. While it's sad he can't be doing what he loves, it brings him great joy to read this.

WELCOME BACK OLD FRIEND
I had taken a hiatus from magazines because I was subscribed to just too many! But now I'm down to 2 and I missed Fine Gardening. I'm so glad I renewed my subscription. This is a beautifully published gardening magazine with lots of tips and tricks for novices and experts alike. I read mine from cover to cover. This magazine lasts me for hours--not minutes like some gardening mags.

NICE
I LIKE THE QUALITY, I LIKE THE INFORMATION, EVERYTHING WAS GOOD, I RECOMMEND TO HAVE BETTER DEMONSTRATION AND DETAILS FOR THE GOODS NOT ONLY GENERAL INFORMATION.TALKING ABOUT QUALITY AND SERVICE, SUPER!!!I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE MY OPINION ON THE SIPPING PART. SOMETIMES WHEN I BUY GOODS ON AMAZON, I GET PART OF THE GOODS SHIPPED IN THE FIRST PLACE WHILE THE OTHER PART TAKES TIME TO PREPARE IT FOR THE NEXT SHIPMENT WHICH IS COSTING ME MORE MONEY REGARDING TAX, SHIPPING AND CUSTOM FEES. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ALL MY GOODS SHIPPED SAME TIME EVEN IF I HAVE TO WAIT COUPLE OF DAYS MORE TO PREPARE THE PACKAGE AS A WHOLE.

MY FAVORITE GARDENING MAGAZINE!
I've been getting this magazine for 10 years. It's so helpful, I keep my old issues organized and handy for when I design new gardens or pots.

Love this magazine and I get all gardening magazines.
This is a very fine gardening magazine, and I get quite a few. This one does have beautiful photos, and I love getting it in the mail, instead of buying at the grocery store as I stand in line. Saves money. All of my friends have "kindles" and love them, for the most part, and I still love my books and may one day own a kindle, but I lost all of my books after collecting for circa: 40 years, all of my stuff got stolen, and I had to replace all of my books, at least some of them. I love amazon and hope that it never goes away.A prefered customer,RG

My favorite gardening magazine
I used to subscribe to Horticulture, Garden Design, Organic Gardening, and several others but now I am down to Fine Gardening and The English Garden. Fine Gardening offers many practical, well written articles on pruning, garden design, propagation, composting etc., introduces new and interesting plants, and has nice illustrations, not artsy but practical, whereas Garden Design, for example, will offer a whole page close up of a single flower. I would say it's true that Fine Gardening concentrates on the Eastern Seaboard area where it is published but that's fine with me since I garden in Connecticut. Though I am a much more knowledgeable gardener than when I first started reading it,I still find at least one interesting nugget in almost every issue.

Outside covers are torn by postal service; no protection given to magazine by publisher.
For the amount of money you spend on this subscription, you would think the publisher would take better care in how it is sent through the mail. The magazine is printed on nice paper, but the covers are torn and mangled when received. They really should send this in a plastic sleeve to protect the magazine. I like to keep my higher end magazines and I hate it when they arrive damaged.Articles are good, but there is alot of advertising. Dont know if I will renew this or not.
