QUIK LOK Studio Furniture, Black (BZ/7)

I bought this to carry around university practice rooms because the piano benches are all much too low for me and I was starting to develop some wrist pain. I was looking for something that would be portable and compact but yet sturdy and built to last. For the most part, it works just fine for that purpose, although I do have a few comments/concerns with this bench--- Build quality. While it does seem to be sturdily made and of good materials, the actual construction of the unit I received is a little off--the two legs are not welded exactly parallel to each other, and so manipulating the telescopic height adjustment is a pain. This is also because the pin mechanism is finicky and can be difficult to get the pins to engage in the desired height position. Suffice to say, if you're adjusting the height, it's not going to set up "in literally 10 seconds" like the box claims. Also wish you could have a little more fine control over the height adjustment than 1-inch increments.- There was also a little bit of wobble at first, probably because of the legs not being square, but it seemed to even out after sitting on it for a while.- The cushion is odd. It actually seems like it's made of memory foam or some similar material because after an extended period practicing on it, you really sink down into the cushion. When you get up your impression stays in the seat for a good 10 minutes.- I don't find the weight to be too cumbersome, but it certainly is no featherweight either. I think I've built up some tone in my biceps carrying this around.- The price. I'm surprised this is sold for just shy of one hundred dollars. Given some of the issues, I think it should be priced a little less. That being said, it does seem like it will last and it gets the job done, so I didn't end up returning it.

Item arrived a day earlier than expected. Love it. Item is very sturdy and easily folds for transport. Says its rated for 250# and I notice no lack of strength for my 245# body. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that will adjust as I use it more. Great product.

As a electric bass guitar player who’s dancing days are behind him, finding a suitable seat to play music can be challenging.. so I’ve been using a 27” Stool with a footrest... cost varies from. $10-$14, a good deal but due to wear and tear, the 27” Stool will last about 6 months before it’s time to find another one!! My latest purchase was from Target ($10) so I bought 3, figuring I’ll get a year and a half (give or take) from having all 3... at some point I believe Amazon had the Quik Lok BZ-7BK, used for $50 so I jumped on it... My only Pro’s are a great seat!! Adjustable height!! Folds up great!! My cons are, heavy, the adjustable height controls has good days and bad days!! More bad than good.. takes a little getting used to in getting the adjustable height controls to be where you want it.

This is a nice adjustable bench that serves it's purpose pretty well. It adjusts like it should for height, although I wish it had a couple more "in between" levels.The padding or vinyl at the corners will crumple down first with use .It did take 2 tries to get an undamaged one as Amazon ships it in its product display box, which is not sturdy or padded enough to arrive without damage, and they won't change how they ship it.

My piano teacher told me about these; I had the old "x" style version which never worked well as you could not adjust the height appropriately. Problem solved with this. Not extremely comfortable, however, but better than a drum stool or what I had before.

We needed a stool for a pedal harp and struggled to find the proper height. This stool is taller than most portable keyboard stools, but it’s adjustable. You can also fold it up and it becomes fairly flat.It is a well-built stool and work’s marvelous

Great height adjustment. Ample height. Other reviews mention weight. Yes, heavier than single "X" type seat, but not too heavy. Other reviewers mentioned noise. Yes, there is some movement and associated sound. I wouldn't like it if I was playing a cello, but for playing keyboard with a band, too quiet to notice. Folding and unfolding fast and easy.

This bench is rock solid and it folds up nice and easy for transport. It's exactly what I wanted for when I'm not at home on my Jansen bench. I can't stand benches that wobble or make noise when you shift your weight, and this bench does neither. The cushion is comfortable and the bench has a nice appearance to it. Definitely a quality product and worth the price.

Ich habe nach einem Hocker ohne Rollen gesucht den ich primär nutze um meine Füße darauf abzulegen.Das klingt jetzt ziemlich banal, entpuppt sich aber doch als größeren Problem als gedacht.Zuvor hatte ich einen einfachen Drehhocker bei dem man die Rollen durch Füße tauschen konnte der um die 30€ gekostet hat, bei dem das billige Plastik der Sitzfläche aber regelmäßig nach kurzer Zeit kaputtgegangen ist. Jetzt soll dieser Hocker aber stattdessen 80€ kosten, die war ich nicht bereit zu bezahlen und habe mich nach einer Alternative umgesehen.Die Kriterien für mich waren:- gepolstert- höhenverstellbar- Sitzfläche groß genug um bequem die Füße darauf ablegen zu können- stabil genug damit der Hocker nicht umfällt wenn man die Beine anstellt und er möglichst auch nicht verrutschtDer Punkt mit dem verrutschen war bei dem alten Hocker ein großes Problem, hier schneidet der Quiklok deutlich besser ab.Mir ist bewusst, dass dieser Hocker sich eigentlich an Musiker richtet und er sich durch die Möglichkeit ihn zusammenzuklappen und mitzunehmen auszeichnet. Die Funktion spielt für mich keine Rolle, klappt aber tadellos.Ich habe mich entschieden 5 Sterne zu geben. Ich bin sicher, für meine Ansprüche müsste es auch etwas für den halben Preis geben können, aber dies war der beste Hocker den ich auf Amazon gefunden habe. Die Langlebigkeit muss sich noch beweisen und ggf. ändere ich die Bewertung dann, aber ich habe mich trotz des hohen Preises für 5 Sterne enteschieden.

Temevo potesse essere poco stabile ma mi sbagliavo. Consigliatissimo. Una volta richiuso occupa poco spazio rispetto ad una seduta tradizionale.

Sedia arrivata difettosa ... avviato subito pratica di rimborso con un operatore di Amazon ... gentilissimo .Avrei preferito la sostituzione ... ma x questo articolo non e possibile.il difetto riscontrato era proprio nella seduta ... da un lato agganciava perfettamente e ben serrato ... l’ altro lato ... ballerino

Molto robusto e stabile, ben adattabile come altezza, comodo come seduta, un po’ pesante per me da alzare e trasportare

Resistente, comodo da trasportare e rapido da "montare". QuikLok è una garanzia per questo tipo di prodotto... L'ho usato per tre live e mi sono trovato benissimo, il cuscino è molto comodo. Consigliato a tutti i tastieristi (e non solo ).
