Would buy again
I like the aluminum material these are made from. I have used plastic ones in the past and they do not function as well. These mounts spin freely to prevent any wrapping of the flags.

There is a certain orientation for the installation. This is not written inside anywhere. Be sure to install it properly.

Seems to work very well
No more tangled flag. Stays untangled even with high winds. Easy install and looks very nice.

Hang 'em high and (mostly) untangled
I bought these metal flagpole rings to replace broken nylon rings on my garage-mounted flagpole. They're sturdy, nicely finished, and easy to apply to the pole. However, due to the angle of the flagstaff and the weight of the (13-star!) US flag, the flag occasionally wrapped around the pole despite the rings' rolling feature. A drop of light machine oil (e.g., 3 in 1) in each rolling ring eliminated the problem. Good deal.

Works as described and keeps your flag from wrapping around and stay wrapped. It does wrap a small bit but it unravels with ease.
