Lifeproof FRĒ SERIES Waterproof Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 - Retail Packaging - NIGHT LITE (BLACK/LIME)

I have used phone cases since my very first Blackberry smart phone. I work in a rough environment and I also like to play in harsh environments. I've seen too many accidents with expensive phones. My phone is supposed to be waterproof and dustproof, but I wanted drop and screen protection as well. My usual go to case did not have screen protection, so I decided to try out the Lifeproof case after finding a great deal on Amazon. I wasn't thrilled about having to buy a belt clip holster separately, but I made that purchase and am really glad I did.My wife tells me that belt clips for phones aren't very stylish, but I like my phone accessible and protected. On my first week out with this clip and case, I was on a kayak trip. I clipped this to my life jacket so I could get to my phone easily and get some good pictures. After a trip through an unexpectedly tough section of rapids and a collision with a very large boulder, my kayak was upside down and I was scraping along the bottom of the river. After getting back to my kayak and getting as much stuff as I could to the edge of the river, I was relieved to find my phone still attached to my life jacket, especially since it was a new phone and my wife had earlier suggested I not leave it on my life jacket. She may be right about my lack of style (obviously), but thanks to this great clip-on phone holster and Lifeproof case, I didn't have to hear "I told you so" about the phone. There was no damage and not a drop of water in the case, not even condensation. I highly recommend this case and the belt clip holster.Reading other comments, I will confirm that at times the touch screen may take a little extra effort, but if you change the settings, it typically works fine. The fingerprint reader can also take a little extra effort at times. I can live with these small inconveniences as long as it protects my phone and screen.

I used to use Otterbox exclusively. Then I upgraded to a Galaxy S9, with a curved screen. Otterbox's S9 case completely gives up on a screen protector. Oh, they have one you can buy separately, but it is applied to the screen with an adhesive, and frankly, falls off at the first opportunity. So I bounced around to different cases. I scoured the internet for my exact criteria: dustproof, waterproof, built-in screen protector, belt clip, kick stand. I found nothing, none, not a single case that met ALL of these.I work in a pseudo construction industry. There is lots of dust and debris. My hands are frequently dirty. I need quick access to my phone for everything from changing my music, to answering work related phone calls. I also enjoy Youtube videos on my breaks. This case, and the inclusion of the belt clip holder, do literally everything I need it to do. It is 100% dust proof and water proof. I cut material and get particles all over me and my phone, handle my phone with dirty hands, and later in the day, blow the particles off with an air hose and wipe the screen clean with glasses cleaner. Boom, done. Break time? I take the belt clip off, place the kickstand, and I'm enjoying myself in no time.This case does everything I ever wanted a phone case to do. It has zero problems with bluetooth, wifi, or network signal loss. It wirelessly charges through the case. It keeps my 900 dollar phone clean and safe from particles, fluids, drops, sharps edges, you name it!BUY THIS CASE! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

My husband absolutely loves this phone case! His work often takes him to high elevations hanging over busy construction sites and this case has really helped make things easier and safer for him. He no longer has to worry about keeping his phone in a bag when the weather is bad. The case is fully waterproof (he tested it himself), and that is a big help. He can easily manipulate the phone with no sensitivity issues on the touch screen through the case. He ordered a clip to go with the case that helps with the safety issues as well. He doesn't have to worry about dropping it while working up high. He highly recommends this phone case.

Case fits well and is waterproof. Great protection for hiking. Did 1330 miles on the PCT without a scratch. Two big problems... plastic screen makes phone screen look like crap, harder to read and reduces touch sensitivity substantially. Secondly, the inputs for the headphone jack and power charger are too small and cause problems. Case comes in with a screw on extension for the headphone jack which is easily lost, not good for a long-distance hiker, and my headphones disconnected from constantly. Still, I like it much more than the OtterBox and other heavy duty waterproof cases I've tried and looked at, as it was the lightest and sleekest, sliding into and out of my pocket easily.

It worked well for years

This is my second FRE lifeproof case for my phone. They have kept my phone in pristine condition in the year and half I have had it. Biggest complaint is the fingerprint read will work when the case is brand new, but as it ages and the film begins be become kind of flimsy it stops working. I have tried redoing the fingerprint to account for the changes but I still can't get it to work.... and yes I have cleaned it. My other complaint is just that you have to have the special adapter for the headphone jack due to the thickness and waterproof qualities of the case. It is fine, it is just super easy to lose and I haven't been able to find where you can purchase this adapter separately. However despite the cons it is worth it, I have shattered too many phones by dropping them and these cases have prevented that.

I like this case for the ease and simplicity of use. It's nice and goes on easily. It's waterproof and will certainly protect your phone. I only have one minor issue with it: my phone fell from three feet onto some metal at work and the plastic screen was torn (a tiny hole) which has now compromised its waterproofing. Even so, my phone screen shows No damage whatsoever and I was very happily surprised that even punctured/broken the plastic screen protector on the front managed to keep my phone screen safe. The case is wonderful and does wonders for your phone; I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to a friend.

As an outdoor activity instructor I need a case that will weather the elements and be exposed to rough treatment. This case does exactly that. I have dropped my phone numerous times and whilst the case has taken a beating the phone is still in perfect condition.Recently I stupidly left my buoyancy aid pocket open with my phone in it. After doing a couple of rolls in my kayak I realised that it had fallen out. The river was pretty full and after much searching I finally realised that it was gone. 4 days later I was back at the same spot and the water level had dropped considerably, lo and behold there was my phone, in its case, exactly where it had fallen out.I fished it out and not expecting anything took it home. Opening up the case not a drop of water came out. I couldn't believe it, I plugged it in and it came back to life instantly. Not a single issue!If it can survive at the bottom of a river for 4 days, it can be put through pretty much anything.Best case ever and highly recommend! Much cheaper than having to buy a new phone!!!

Nickel, il faut juste ajuster la taille du clavier pour le galaxy S9 pour pouvoir écrire facilement. Sinon la protection gêne légèrement les côtes où l'écran courbe. Mais la protection est très haute, je suis satisfait

Ya habia comorado otra carcasa de esta marca para un iphone y esa me duro 3 años y eso que se me caia bastante el cel y nunca le paso algo, esta vez la carca tmb me parecio excelente el unico detalle a diferencia de la del iphone es que se batalla un poco para que detecte la huella, fuera de eso me encanto, espero me dure otros 3 años.

Although overpriced it is actually a very reliable and break free case. Dropped my phone already numerous times and there has been zero damage to my actual phone. The screen protector at first was annoying because it wouldn't register certain presses when texting. An easy fix is to simply increase the phones screen sensitivity in the settings. Great case and Life Proof is a very reputable company that is easy to deal with if anything goes wrong with your case.
