Just tear off the length you need, peel off the back and stick it down. It stuck like a charm and no problems so far. Easy to use and has many applications.

I have a couple of step ladders around the house with slick plastic or metal steps, and every time I used them I could feel my legs becoming slightly weak, because of the nervousness of almost slipping and sliding off. After buying this, the grip is fantastic, I could feel it through socks or shoes which gives me peace-of-mind.If I were to buy another roll, I would go for the widest option because you can always trim it down lengthwise as needed for narrower steps.I put this on almost all my ladders (except my longest one) and I still have some leftover.

This was purchased because I slipped down these pool steps, 3 of them, I did stick the landing. Then with my bruised bum I decided to immediately purchase grip tape. This was super easy to cut and place where I needed it. It stays in place and doesn’t let you slip! Thank goodness!!!

I was excited to find this product because my short-legged dog needs a non-skid surface to help him climb into the car without slipping. This tape was very easy and quick to install, and it provides excellent grip for my dog. My only complaint is that it is actually too rough/sharp. I have scratched the skin on my leg multiple times when I accidentally rub against this. (As in, leaving thin red marks for a few days, like getting scratched by a blackberry bush.) It can also catch and scratch nylon clothing (yoga pants, etc.). I still love this product but hope in the future they tone down the sandpapery-ness just a little.

Mr Pen tape is not sold in Lowes or Home Depot which is where I went when I ran out of Mr Pen tape. I bought 3M at Lowes and it was hmmm...it was okay. But not as good as Mr Pen! The Mr Pen grit seemed to be a couple levels more coarse, and consequently, better anti-slip, than the 3M tape. So instead of finishing the job in 3M, I reordered Mr Pen. Also, this may not be a big deal but the deep rich black of the Mr Pen tape is much more eye appealing than the lighter matte black of the 3M. That's just me though.

Thick and gritty, good quality. Easy to use. Hoping it holds up well since it does rain a lot!

I have a platrform I put on the tractor forks to lift people up for tree trimming, etc.The floor of the platform is painted steel and get very slippery when wet or with some wood chips. I bought the tape to fix this issue.Tape comes in a nice tight roll. Figure out where you want the tape and mark your surface. Once it's down, it's stuck so measure twice. Unroll the amount of tape you need and cut. I used some sin snips because they were on hand but scissors would work.The texture is good and the adhesive is strong. Time will tell if the corners start to pull up, but I'll be surprised if they do.
