Very beautiful keepsake for someone who has passed. Set this out at a celebration of life and people loved the idea!

Light-weight wood
It is made from a very lightweight wood. I had expected something a bit more substantial, but this little box will work just fine. If you want it for a keepsake to last a long time, then it will need to be in a safe spot, one fall and I think it would shatter. But if you just need an inexpensive box for an event it is perfect.

Great treasure holder
This is small and compact. It’s a wonderful keepsake box. It comes with its own cards. They are on a sturdy stock. They are big enough to add a decent size thought or memory without it getting too long. It looks good on any surface if you wish to leave it out. It can also be stored easily if that is your preference. I really loved this option and used it for my sons graduation.

Semi-gloss paper not good for writing
The box is ok but it’s one of those craft-store-quality boxes not meant to last. It’s ok to look at and sit around, though. The cards though - ugh. Why make them glossy???? It’s only good for smudging ink.
