Does what it’s made for
This socket is a must for any mechanic. There are so many different types of sensors, that require a special socket like this one. From oil pressure switches, to A.C pressure switches. I use this socket at least once a week if not more. It is well made, and have had no issues fitting any sensor that uses this socket. You can clearly see the markings on the side. The walls are nice and thin to get some of the harder to reach sensors, that engineers love to try and make as difficult as possible to get to. Anyway I can 100% recommend this to any discerning mechanic.

$7, 1 hrs work, & Priceless time spent with my kids! Worth it!
My RamblingsYou have an oil needle just jumping around like a 6 year old on a chocolate & sugar high, on Easter morning? Well time for a replacement and for that you'll need yourself the correct Socket or an appointment with the mechanic. In my case, I'm the mechanic and my wife called me.To the Point or TL;DRJust okay quality, not like some of my other brand name tools, Fits my need, but verified elsewhere the size needed before ordering, 3/8" drive, and deep. Here's How I See ItThis is my first oil sensor change, but I calculated the time, plus $8 vs the mechanic down the road and determined even if I use it once... It was worth it. Add to that, my children got to help and learn, and you just can't get any better.By The WayTook 2 minutes to remove old sensor, 2 minutes to install new sensor, and 1 hour to remove wheel, wheel well plastic guard, move wires, explain everything to my kids, let'em bust a couple of their knuckles, and then reassemble the whole thing.Who May Use/Like ItShade tree mechanics like me needing a sensor replaced.Me Final ThoughtsGood enough for, delivered to my house, didn't need to drive anywhere to buy, fit my needs, and might use again somewhere else, or let a friend borrow, $8, tool. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: Osilly Cost: $6.99 at time of review.Osilly Car Oil Pressure Sensor Socket, 6 Point Automotive Professional Switch Socket Fits 3/8" Drive 1-1/8" Hex Wrench, 1-1/16"Quick Removing Installing Oil Sending Unit(Silver)

For $8, it's a good investment.
I have an early 2000's GMC Sierra 1500 with the 4.8 liter and at 170,000 miles, the oil pressure gauge pegged at 80 psi so I figured the sending unit was bad. They say a 27mm deep socket will get the old one out but I knew I didn't want to risk snapping off the old one with a potentially sloppy fit so I opted for this oil sending unit socket. Removing the old sending unit and reinstalling a new one is 99% done by feel as you really don't get to see what your doing because there's simply no room where it's located. Smaller hands will certainly make the job a bit easier but for me and my clod hopper hands, getting the threads started on the new one was the toughest part. Once started though, attaching this special socket made things go smoothly. I'm not much for buying stuff for a more than likely, one time use but for $8, I can't help but feel like it was money well spent.

Quality Strong Oil Pressure Sensor Socket
I really love having the correct tools on hand to work on my cars and this 6-point 3/8” drive socket is perfect for my needs. It is well constructed, feels very strong, and looks good too. Be aware that this socket arrives bathed in oil within two layers of plastic. So, the oil won’t leak on you, but it will get on you when you open the inner packaging. I actually appreciate this as it reduces chances for it rusting during shipping, etc. This socket fits my tools as expected - its fits strong and secure, but not too tight so fitment is good. Very happy to have this socket in my tool arsenal. Definitely a recommend to any home or professional auto mechanic.

I will be using this to replace the oil pressure sensor on my car
This is a nice chrome socket and is heavy built, and fits my oil pressure sending unit like it should.

Seens OK
Seems decent.I got this to replace the one I lent someone and not specifically for my car. Amazon's confirmed fit erroneously claims it fits my car but in reality it's fits the next model year and up. of my car. Never ever under any circumstances rely on amazon's fitment info.Made in China

not for impact wrench as far as I can tell, okay quality
With the look of nearly all impact sockets I bought this for a deep 27mm rusted out sensor on my honda... not realizing it likely is not safe for impact wrenches. I did use it as such, but wouldn't bet my safety that it will hold up! That aside it is of marginal build quality with some imperfections in the casting.... and for the price (more than harbor freight) I would likely not buy again unless on sale. The one BIG advantage is the 6 point end that will allow you to put a combo wrench or some other socket if you have an odd fit that needs that reach, so for that I kind of like it in my toolbox.
