Ordered this July 5, product came in on time and packaging is well intact and no damages. So 3 days ago and I decided to put this fountain together. The next day around lunch time and it should've have been fully charged already but unfortunately it's not working. Checked evrything and followed troubleshooting tips. After After the 3rd day and still not working. I was so excited to see this fountain working but going to the 4th day and the sprinkle still dead...

Mine works fine in the sun for a small water feature, There is no battery back up As so.On as a cloud blows over it stops , But for Keeping water moving long enough everyday to not Let mosquitoes breed it's fine

The solar panel is really weak, it doesn't work if not directly exposed to the sunlight. The vinyl tube is of a really bad quality, soft and it is full of kinks out of the box. All and all, not worth it.

At first I was happy with this solar powered pump. Worked great for my small water feature but it completely quit working after 3 weeks. It never ran dry so I have no idea why it just randomly quit one day.

I have a similar pump that I use for the fountain function, but this time I wanted to use the pump and tube function to create a little running water feature with a ceramic pot and a shallow pond. I wasn't expecting much, just enough flow to keep water moving through, and this pump does that. However, like a lot of low-end pumps, the solar cell directly powers the pump and does not charge a battery, so if you don't have the absolute perfect location in full sun or it's an overcast day, nothing is going to happen in terms of moving water. For my purposes, this little guy is fine, although it's a little annoying to not be able to sit around the water feature at night and enjoy the sound. But you get what you pay for: it works in full sun and does what I need it to in that particular circumstance. If you need a simple fountain or pump and tube setup, this is an economical way to achieve those goals if you have the right location or if you just want to see if you want this kind of device in your water feature. Easy to set up and to clean. If you go the fountain route, there are multiple heads you can use for different effects. The solar cell is large and you can't cover it, so be aware that it will be seen.
