I bought this for a relative’s birthday, she lives on a farm. The card is so simple and elegant it can be used for any occasion. It has no flashing lights, no musical sounds, not even any written text, which sometimes can be embarrassingly saccharine.The card unfolds with no need for instructions how to do it. It lays open flat and the barn and windmill stand straight up. And then there’s an adorable pig. They are all a wide expanse of open farmland where you can write any message, anywhere, to your heart’s content.The card material is slightly stiff but still card-like. It almost gives no hint that it is a popup. The matching envelope is usual paper stock and has a non-lick self close strip.As is true with all popup cards I’ve purchased this one will require extra postage, it’s best to go to the window clerk or use the self-service kiosk.YES NO MAYBEMy only issue with the card is that it is difficult to fold back up, the pig insists on standing in front of the barn making it impossible to close. You have to gently guide him behind the barn to get it to lay flat again. If you send a lot of cards the ten dollar price may seem a little high but these days any ordinary card at a gift shop will go for six or more, and many of them are not as nice. I only send to special people on special occasions when I care enough to send the best. This was a great choice and I believe it earns a positive rating.
