OtiClean-A Pet Ear Cleaning Lotion, 4-Ounce

After using this product today my dog, Bella, just shook her head one time after treating each ear. This was a great sign as she usually shook her head about 20 times after using a solution of 50% alcohol and white vinegar that my vet recommended. I think this mixture, while at first was effective, became too harsh in later use and also caused a rash inside Bella's ear the last time I used it. That is why I switched to Oticlean which seemed to work just great.

I bought this based on the suggestion of my new puppy's breeder. Shih tzus are prone to ear infections if you don't keep their ears clean. My last shih tzu had several infections over her lifetime in spite if frequent cleaning. Hopefully this cleaner will be more effective. So far I haven't had any problems. I'd rate it higher, but the product I recieved only had a few months left before the expiration date.

Does a great job of cleaning ears. I squirt some on a cotton ball and wipe out the ear. My dog does not like the solution put directly into his ear. If used after every bath it prevents my dog from getting eat infections.
