Does the job!
First one got stuck and had to exchange it. New one works well and grinds red wheat berries to a fine flour. I like it so far!!

Does a great job and fits in a draw when not in use
I use a small fan to cool the motor when I mill grain. It keeps the motor cooled and prevents it from over heating while milling enough flour for two loaves of bread! Takes no space on my counter when not in use and fits in a small drawer. You have to have an island or peninsular to attach the mill to, the overhang on a counter is not deep enough to attach this unit securely.

manual arm works, electric motor does not
I assembled the product as required by the instructions. It states to grind rice to clean it between uses, and you have to discard the first few cups anyways, so I started by grinding rice. The directions state to start on fine, then move to coarse if needed. So that's what I did. The motor worked just fine for a few minutes, though slow, then seized up and will not turn again. There was a jam inside the milling shaft area, and I was able to break it loose after I removed the motor and did it manually with the crank. The motor is stuffed though. If you need a manual counter top mill, this one could work. But do NOT buy the motor. It has a shut off overload breaker, but it didn't trip when there was a jam and now the motor is non-working.Sending back for a refund.

Our 1st grain mill grinder
We absolutely love our grain miller. We use it daily, multiple times a day. I use it mostly for small batches like pancakes, tortillas, pasta or thickening sauces and soups. I had an electric grinder for milling larger quantities like for baking our bread. ..but now that I learned about the motor I bought it and we are waiting for it. So exciting!.
