I have doubled up these over a light, and the light still reflected off the surface.

I bought two packages of these light covers for my 7th grade ESL (English as a Second Language) classroom to tone down the fluorescent light quality and make my room a little darker. They did their job AND turned my entire room blue like an aquarium! It's grown on me and I really enjoy it now. My students also love it. I did an unofficial social experiment to see if the blue color would calm down my children, but alas that isn't the case. The magnets do sometimes come off quite easily (especially if students throw paper airplanes enough times at them), but they're easy to snap back onto the light fixture. I highly recommend these to anyone!

I started a journey of providing a calmer atmosphere for my sixth grade students. The blue filters made my class look awesome. It was a process and I had to apply for a grant to cover the rest of the filters within my budget, which I did receive. I love these filters.
