Couldn't Connect to Router
After several attempts to connect this camera to my router in my house (closely following the instructions), I contacted a support tech. He advised me that they had previous reports of connection failures by other buyers of this camera. He asked me if I would prefer a refund or replacement. I chose a replacement, because I was successful in connecting to a remote access point in my workshop. The video was excellent for such a low cost camera. The replacement arrived and has the same connection issue with my house router. I've decided to keep this camera to monitor my workshop.

Unable to use a third party app to view camera
Unable to use a third party app to view camera. I have several wireless IP cameras ranging in price and features. All work just fine in TinyCam on Android and other camera management apps. This camera, however, does not have the functionality to directly connect via IP / app. If there is a way, it's certainly not defined or available online. This severely limits the functionality of this camera, and renders it useless to me since I can't use it with my other cameras within the same app.The camera quality is actually pretty good, if you're ok with using a single proprietary app that will only work for this device. This item would have been returned already if I knew about these shortcomings within the return window. It's getting two stars for decent video resolution.

They DO NOT support their devices!
Stopped working after 6 mo. Company said firm ware update they will get back to me & they will replace it if they have no solution. 2 mo later I called again. They staled me another week. Now they tell me it’s 2 days past 1yr Warranty. On the phone they told me 2 yr warranty with this problem.

What you need to know about this camera.
Very disappointed with this camera. First, no Mac OS X software. PC only. What are they thinking? PC software is weak. iOS software is weak. I didn't waste my time trying the Android software.This really put me off this camera, you MUST create an account with Amcrest and work thru their servers (China?) to use the camera. No thanks, not in this day and age of security issues!!If you are looking for an Ethernet connection on this camera, you won't find it, it doesn't have one. Video/picture is overly "fish-eyed".Based on the 5 star reviews, I bought two of these cameras. Within two hours of opening and working with the first one, I've decided both are going to be returned for a refund.This camera may be your "cup of tea" - it certainly isn't mine.

Easy to set up, quick to connect, great quality video
This camera is simple to set up with easy to follow guide. The video is a good quality HD feed and the audio is excellent. We are using this camera to monitor our home and like the motion alerts.

Awesome camera Great picture and ok sound
Awesome camera Great picture and ok sound. I would give it 5 stars if it had a way to use it on Blue Iris Camera software. As far as I know there is no way to use 3rd party soft with this camera.

It is very awesome and it is very clear picture. It is worth it and I could use it often. I will buy this again in the future. It is very excellent service and I recommend it.
