Very comfortable and makes great shape but runs small both in width and in cup

This bra changed my life. Well, actually getting professionally fitted AND buying this bra changed my life. Was going on the job market and decided to get a professional bra fitting at Nordstrom's before buying any interview clothes. Holy cow! I had been wearing too big a band and too small a cup for years. I am very big breasted, and chose this bra because putting it on (correctly sized) suddenly made me feel really comfortable. The band was in contact with my chest all around, the cups fit, and the straps did not dig or gap. The straps are wider, which helps a lot. It feels like more bra than I had been wearing, but once on, I forget I'm wearing it. That hasn't happened in years! It also makes my clothes look better, I don't look so matronly, buttoned shirts do not gap, my neck and shoulders don't hurt, and I'm not fidgeting with it all day. It also launders well. I do machine wash it on gentle and hang it to dry. I've bought 6 or 7 of them over the last couple of years and they are worth every penny. They hold up really well. I STRONGLY encourage women who are big chested to get a professional fit and invest in a high quality bra like this one. You won't believe the difference.

Went with the reviews which I read a ton of and took the plunge and spent the dough on this bra. I got my size, 36DDD, but also 34G as a bra fitter suggested that, but band for 36DDD was WAY too tight. Didn't bother trying on the 34. Love the cup size and straps especially and how it fit in front, band actually "sits" on rib cage between breasts, for once!! so very comfortable, but, I am returning it because I want a cup that is not so sheer but modestly padded. And I guess I also need to go up to 38DDD (which is odd as my measurement is actually 34 below the bust, 40 for bust). (I am 5'2" and weigh 140.) Any advice here in the form of a reply would be greatly appreciated as to which other "model" just like this one has a bit of coverage in cups? Because I really like it otherwise. Thanks.

i have been wearing the Awareness bra for several years now it being the only bra that I would even look at after I bought the first one! The weight of the fabric was thick enough that you felt as though it was holding you in place,very supportive, the straps were wide enough but not too wide they stayed in place without slipping...I had noticed the lighter colors for some reason seemed tighter,but not enough to change the size,but these bras would last for a couple of years with the correct care.The last one I bought was this past month and I was so disappointed in it. the weight of fabric was so much thinner that it wasn't even holding me up like it once did. I couldn't believe how thin it was I could see straight through it! My husband even noticed the differance when he picked it up! I had ordered the Chalk Pink and it felt as though I could run my fingers straight through it! My size had been a 36H. I had lost several pounds so I had been unsure of what size to get I measured a 33 so I order a 34G,( I cant remember what my bust size was) Im not sure what bra Im going to order but this was so cheaply made I may have to try a whole different bra this time..It always seem when you find a good thing they decide to change it!

Fit is great, even if straps twist. Well made. Expensive, but long lasting.

This is an exceptionally nice bra for the money. Very pretty, soft fabric with a luxe hand feel. Underwires lay flat and smooth, and are well covered by cushiony fabric. You dont feel them. Very well made, full support without oversized cups, and with a flattering fit. Padded straps from top of the cup to just over the shoulder, attached to very good quality, wide, soft elastic adjustable straps to the band in back. The band is a nice width that lays flat, does not roll, pinch, or have any rough edges. I would definitely buy this again.

Leaving this review for all the women out there, with large and very large pendulous/droopy breasts, that have given up the hope of finding a comfortable bra that fits like a glove!To put things in perspective, if I added up all the hours I spent searching, reading and measuring for bras, it would amount to days and days.I have tried, ordered and returned dozens of bras, cheap ones and very expensive ones. There is always something that doesn't work quite right. I have a lot of pain in my shoulders, spine and have very large cups (I or J) all the while having a small band for my weight (250lbs, underbust is 38.5" so I wear a 40 band in bras). I also get rashes very quickly from many fabrics 😞 All this makes finding a good bra a real challange!I ordered this one without any real hope, and took a 42H instead of 40I (the size doesn't exist in this model).When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the softness of the material! I stay away from jaquard fabrics and most fabrics with patterns and borders because of the rashes. This one impressed me with its softness. Then I noticed the side bands on the inner cups and the rather short bra straps. I was almost sure it wouldn't fit, and it did take a while to close the 4 hooks at the back, but once they were hooked and I arranged everything in the cups, I was amazed! It's been years that my breasts haven't been at this hight without feeling any pain anywhere! They are nicely separated, even though the cup is one size smaller than my size. I can finally see my waist 😀 Plus the bra didn't ride up even after a few hours of intensive physical work. The jaquard doesn't show through thin material! My shoulders and back don't hurt! It's a miracle and the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. Well worth the price, especially if it lasts (we'll see, but I'm confident).I'll be ordering more and telling about this one to all of my large-breasted friends.Give it a try and you'll likely have the best surprise ever!

This is a pretty, well designed bra which holds the breasts in firmly and smoothly. The cups are full and all-encasing; no spillage here. And no bounce or jiggle! There is a slight minimizing effect, but for generously endowed gals, it's barely noticeable.As others have said, the band of this bra is a few inches shorter than any of my other bras of the same size. Consider getting bra extenders at the same time you buy this one!
