ZERO quality control - Not functional
I ordered this product weeks ago, it arrived and sat for about a week until I was ready to spray my clay soil amendment. I measured the product into the screw-on base and turned the hose on and "nothing." This is where my dumb moment occurred....I have a fertilizer sprayer that fills and mixes the contents of the jar with water (no internal uptake straw) then begins spraying the mixed liquid fertilizer. I unscrew the lid and notice there isn't an uptake straw in the unit rendering it useless as this sprayer requires an uptake straw to pull up and dispense the product at the rate specified on the dial. I return it and the company sends a replacement. The replacement arrives a week later and it's a regular hose-end sprayer, not an adjustable dial one like the one I bought and had returned. UGH! Come on people, a little "awareness" goes a long way. At least double-check to be sure you're sending out the exact product you've agreed to exchange! So, today another trip to the UPS store to return the "replacement" sprayer, which wasn't the correct item. I'm not sure if this is a seller issue or a manufacturer issue so I've decided to go out and buy one at a local garden center so I don't have to go through this any more. Buyers be careful on this one. I think the product is likely great if you can get your hands on one that includes the parts required to function.

Didn't last long
I really liked this sprayer when it was new. Unfortunately, it lasted through exactly 5 sprayings before it started leaking profusely at the hose connector. I changed the washer, but that wasn't the problem. On the 6th use the hose actually blew out of the threaded connector. I could see that the threads had failed, which is probably what was causing the leak the previous time -- not the washer. If you want to spend $4 per use, this is a good choice, because it is otherwise a very good design. But that hose connector needs to be made of stronger plastic. I hope the manufacturer reads this.

Essential Tool for Gardens
No more measuring is needed to mix water with things to water our garden. We use all natural solutions for pest & disease control, but I am sure it works just as well with chemicals. This was a perfect purchase to meet our needs.

Overpriced Waste of Plastic
Build quality is better than some of the other products, including one that I bought 2 years ago. Most importantly, it does not work very well. With high hose pressure (about 75 psi), the spigot wide open, and the dial set at the maximum (8 oz/gal), the spray stream is very weak at all of the 3 spray settings and it hardly sucks any liquid out of the reservoir. It would take about 30 minutes at the maximum setting to empty the reservoir. This is a waste of money and a waste of plastic. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend an alternative product since every one that I have tried is made-in-China garbage. I wish someone would make a better quality lawn sprayer, even if it is more expensive and will last longer than a year or two.

Needs adapter for common UK
I should have realised from the photo, but this hose-end sprayer is not supplied with a coupling that mates with the Hozelok/Gardenia click-connect standard fittings common in the UK. So it was adisappointment to have then to find and purchase a 3/4" male pipethread - Hozelok male adapter to be able to use this. Then comes the mental gynmastics of converting the desired mls per litre (or %) dilution rates to the bizarre US measures of tsps or tbsps per (US) gallon marked on the thing. After all that, it has so far worked well, with a good ranging spray pattern. Does the job, but a bit pricey for what it is, especially when adding in the extra hose adapter needed.
