These soaps are like the old carbolic soap you used to get years ago. Ideal to use after working in the garden. Washes away tough marks on the skin and has antibacterial properties. Would recommend.

I bought this after suddenly thinking about it from my childhood. I'm so glad I did. Wonderful fragrance. Lathers up like a dream and makes me feel squeaky clean. I even used it on my face. No dryness at all. Forget all your modern soaps & ungents, this is a straight forward, quality soap in a nice chunky bar from yesteryear, that doesn't disappoint. So glad it's still being made. Don't leave soap in the water dissolves very quickly. Goes very stickySmells clean 😌

Just love this soap , I was having a conversation with my brother about the old day and carbolic soap came up and I said I love the smell of it it basically got used for everything that needed clear so I looked on Amazon and see they had it and I'm over the moon with it you just smell clean and like the old stuff there was no dry skin and 3 big bars for the price I paid I normally paid around 1.50 per block of top brand soap and this is just as good or better

I loved the smell of the old original carbolic soap so nostalgia prompted me to try this. While the soap itself is ok, the smell is a bit weird, it doesn't resemble carbolic. Rather disappointed.

Great product

For my liking, Carbolic concentration in Fitzroy Carbolic Soap is very low. I can hardly get the smell of Carbolic.I would like to have the Carbolic Soap with two to three times, or even more concentration of Carbolic in the Soap to get the same nice smell and good feeling of the Carbolic Soaps that we used to get in 1960s to 1990s.However, I have to admit that the Soap is very smooth and done very well. It will be suitable for people who do not want to have strong smell of carbolic.
