Great DIY Project. Emphasis on the DIY
This ebike kit is great. Its about as simple as it can possibly be and it is so cheap its crazy, I'm enjoying the heck out of it! The only issues id say to take into account are that this kit does not fit any bike perfectly, I had to make little brackets for my bike out of aluminum bars and replaced the clamps for the motor mounts with proper Ubolts. If you have some DIY skill, this kit would make a great project that will give you something to help you put around town on without working up a sweat. L Faster sells a 28 tooth rear sprocket that will make you have a higher top speed at the cost of torque (stock is 32T). I am okay with this tradeoff, weighing 140lbs, now I can cruise throttle only at about 24mph. downhill I've gotten my bike up to 33mph and the range of this kit with a 36v 20ah battery is near 50miles, I did 42mi the other day and had no issues. I would definitely recommend this, just be ready to put some time into this, its not as easy as legos.

very difficult install, but seems decent quality
I installed this on a super cheap commuter bike i found for like $75 on some kind of clearance sale. The bracket required significant modification, I ground off a bit in some places, bent it in several places to suit the bike frame shape, and ultimately the top part still isn't as secure as I think it needs to be. The bracket shifts slightly after each ride, and the chain slackens, so it will need something further to keep it in place. If you are a strong DIY person you can make this work, the included motor, controller, and throttle seems OK, and the bracket is sturdy and seems well made, but its really only suitable for some bike frame shapes without a lot of mods. ultimately, I think it may have fit my older mountain bike better, but i wanted the motor on this commuter bike really. I may have to come up with my own bracket in the future, or do more mods before this is gonna really be ready for long rides.

Easy to install, works great!
Super easy to install, even on my 3 wheel Teratrike. I was quoted $3000 for an ebike conversion so you can understand how happy I am! Sometimes the simple ideas are the best! It took me less than two hours to install myself and I'm disbled! Worked great first time, plenty of power to get me up the hills!

Good Luck
Cheap AF, the 2 of split lock washers popped out installing the wheel sprocket.... and there are literally no instructions that ship with this. No thread locker on the motor sprocket nut, and that was half the reason the woodruff key on mine shattered. The light connections seem to be 40v, which is a difficult voltage for lights.*******Your whole experience rides on a bracket, and you'd think that the triangular nature would be forgiving, but it also needs to line up for chain tension and alignment. I had to hammer the bracket flat, pad the distance with washers, buy longer bolts, and the one side I just gave up on and used a pipe clamp.Engineering wise, they could generalize the bracket install with longer bolts, extra holes in the bracket for mounting option, maybe throw in a pack of washers to fine tune the alignments, or just design the whole thing holistically to be adjustable. Oh, and document the electronic I/Os, like *what they are*, and volt/amp ratings. The product works at the bare minimum level, you will feel that minimalism in during the install and afterward.Edit: One of the springs in the brushed motor was crushed down all the way, the brush stuck at the bottom of its track, and the copper wire lead to that was fully disconnected without any evidence of solder (or arc) on it. It was probably defective from the get go. I believe this led to premature failure of some of the voltage regulation for the lights... this thing really, really, really, really sucks. Also, back to the theme of bad metallurgy, a screw on the motor casing stripped in like 1 secondedit2: Also on the same tired ass theme of bad metal, the freewheel just ate it and basically functions in reverse, it only spins the chain when I pedal but not when I throttle.

Good motor...
You're gonna need a rack and some plumbers tape or other hardware to mount the motor. In my case, the motor was too close to the pedals and I hit the back of my foot on the motor. I had to move the motor above the rear dropout and mounted it to a rack I used to hold the battery and controller. It wasn't pretty, but it worked. I'm 230lbs and it pushed me about 20mph on flat land. I would suggest getting a 750watt hub motor wheel, which is what I intimately went to. No mounting issues and more power uphill.

Pretty good
Works pretty well. Had to bend the mounting plate with a hydraulic press to make it work for my bike but otherwise it was straight forward to assemble.

Super geiles Ding.
The media could not be loaded. Ja was soll man sagen.

Buena potencia mala calidad
