Slightly unstable if not screwed down
I am using this as a stop gap while I wait for someone to fit a walk in shower with a much lower step for my elderly Dad. The shower I use at the moment has a 10" step and this acts as a superb half step. I'm using inside so didn't want to screw it to my bathroom floor and it is liable to tilt slightly when he pulls himself onto it - knowing this I simply put a foot on the far side of it and problem solved.A very sturdy step and if used outside or otherwise secured to the floor it is excellent for bridging a high step.

Great, check small screw on delivery it might help handle assembly
My parents were considering getting a builder in to put a step in at the rear French doors. This one handled step allows the door to swing out. And is stable and sturdy. They are very pleased with it. That said when it arrives and the handle needs to go into the slot. There is a small screw preventing it sliding in. Make sure you check for the screw. It will help with assembling.

Excellent Quality Sturdy Step
This is an excellent item. Very good quality, large surface area,strong and stable and the non-slip strips on the surface work well . The two handles have a pattern cut into the top which is then painted over so grip is better there too. Im currently using it indoors for my physiotherapy but as soon as I have finished that it will be by my front doorstep to help elderly visitors (and me) get in and out in safety and comfort. Highly recommended.

Very good
This is a very good piece of equipment purchased for an elderly relative. It is a quality item with adjustment for levelling off the sturdy platform already built in and then two good handles that are secure and stable. If fitted outside it does need screwing down using the clips provided. Great item.

A bit pricey but firmly constructed and provides good support. My only criticism is that the handles were very difficult to insert and needed my rugby-playing son to get them in into the sockets. Notwithstanding that I'll probably order another one..

Solid and well engineered
Solid and well engineered although a little on the expensive side. This step can be screwed in place with the provided brackets incase the user pulls too hard on the handles causing the step to move. I would certainly recommend this to anyone having used this to replace an existing step without handles. The difference in mobility as the user no longer has to hold onto a door frame or windowsill is considerable.

Perfect for my husband but the only thing I did not like was the screws were to small for bars

Excellent Mobility Product
This step fit perfectly outside the front door enabling a safe entrance. Would recommend. Needed help assembling.
