Love it. New daily driver.
This is a great addition to my coffee set up. It is well made and I appreciate the way it looks and its build quality. The glass feels great. The brews I got from it have been excellent. I have always used the regular V60 and this can be used this way but the workflow is a lot easier and combining percolation and immersion brewing opened the door to new ways to enjoy coffee. It is also easier to get the coffee dialed in with this VS the regular V60 where timing and pouring technique is more important. Highly recommend it and will make your pour over feel like they are on easy mode. One thing to note is the size. I would recommend highly to go with 3 instead of 2. Even if you usually only brew one cup. Due to the immersion use purposes you need a bigger volume and even with the 3 size I would be able to do only 500 cc or so. It will also be a good option to do bigger brew for bigger crowd if you use it as a regular V60 when used open. I hope this helps.

Full, rich coffee flavor without the sludge
This is simply the best way to make drip coffee. Period! I have tried a wide variety of methods for brewing the best possible cup of coffee. I like coffee made in a French press, especially the ones that are insulated, but because they lack a paper filter they leave an unpleasant "sludge" in the bottom of my cup. I like a well made pour over coffee, but find it hard to bring out the full body and strength of the coffee that way. The switch on this coffee maker lets the coffee "steep" long enough to get all the great flavor and body a coffee has to offer, and then filters out the sludge. Voila! The perfect cup of coffee. The other contender in this category is the "Clever Coffee Dripper", which also makes great coffee, but is made of cheap feeling plastic. I much prefer the glass and silicone materials of the Hario Switch.

If It’s Good Enough for Hoffmann… It’s Going in My Rotation
I didn’t need another pour-over device… but then James Hoffmann casually mentioned the Hario V60 Ceramic Immersion Dripper "Switch" was his daily driver for a while, and suddenly I had to have it. Call it peer pressure. Call it coffee cult behavior. Call it what it is: absolutely worth it.The Switch brings together the best of both worlds—immersion brewing and pour-over precision—with a literal flick of the wrist. Want to bloom and steep before releasing? Done. Want to geek out over flow rate and grind size? Also done. Want a foolproof way to get a consistent, clean, flavorful cup without brewing anxiety? Welcome home. The ceramic body feels solid and premium, like it could survive a minor kitchen apocalypse. And the simplicity of the switch mechanism? So satisfying it feels illegal. No drama. No leaks. Just coffee wizardry in motion. This one’s now a solid part of my rotation. Great for mellow mornings or when I want a cup with a bit more body but still clean clarity. Whether you’re deep into your third-wave journey or just trying to impress yourself before 8 a.m., this is a worthy add to the shelf.

Amazing
Best invention for pour over coffee since the filter. This is my go-to method for coffee prep. No number of stars can adequately express how good the Switch really is in terms of giving coffee drinkers an infinite number of parameters to use for brewing coffee. The web has a million vids on the Switch and I urge every pour over enthusiast to try it and experiment with it to find your perfect cup.

Great for beginners and full on enthusiasts alike
Absolutely love this thing. So versatile and easy to use. Flow is great even with the stainless marble stopper. I use size 02 filters and up to 30 grams of coffee grounds in one pour and have great results. Glass is thick and durable and holds heat well. Great value for the money, it's one of my favorite drippers.

Great product, two small tweaks would be even better!
I love the freshness from this porcelain drip maker. Two things could make this better. First, the ball bearing needs to be a touch larger. Second, letting it steep in the container for even just 45 seconds- the seal of the Silicon around the Porcelain starts to leak. In essence, have a slightly larger bearing and have the Silicon make to be a little tighter. Other than than love this pour over.

Pour Over Game Changer!
If you're a V60 user, this will be a familiar product. The ability to do immersion and percolation brewing all in one is a super cool and convenient feature. I did not think that this was necessary for a pour over, but it really does change the tasting experience of your coffee. To me, it combines the best of an aeropress and traditional pour over in one handy device. It can also be used as a traditional V60 without using the switch feature. This device really allows for the end-user to tweak their brew via endless methodologies. If you want to get the most out of your coffee experience and like adjusting flavor experiences, this is the device to use. Highly recommend adding this to your brewing arsenal. If this is your potential first brewer, you cant go wrong with the ability to use it in so many different ways.

Love it!
Awesome! I can allow the grounds to bloom, then fill up the cone with water for immersion and release the lever for the coffee to drip into my carafe. My coffee comes out perfect! It's nicer than the French press because I can just toss the grounds. No more sludge in my last cup of coffee. It is simple, the hole size works well. I have been using regular coffee maker filters and they work ok.
