After Three different types, This was the Best Boot Ever!
I tried it on right away. I did fumble for a few minutes the first time trying it on, but once I figured it out (following the instructions), I had no problems whatsoever. The boot is quite comfortable, and has a nice rocking soul for ease of movement. It didn't slip or become loose, either. In fact, it fit so well I never even needed to use the extra pads that came with it.

Great Fit!
I wear women's size 11 and bought the size medium and it fits perfectly. It seems like good quality and the pump feature works as described. It had one of the extra cushion pads already sewn in place across the area covered by the strap that is second from the bottom and it is the perfect place and provides extra comfort.

Good boot for metatarsal fractures
Just got this boot today, but so far I like it WAY better than the tall CAM walker boot I got from the ER. I recently broke bones in my 3rd, 4th, and 5th metatarsals and reinjured a previous high ankle sprain. Not a happy foot, but this boot is providing the support and comfort I need. I only wish it had a solid plastic back all the way up for more support for my ankle, so that's the only reason for giving it 4 stars. I bought a walker boot cover from Amazon that fits great over this boot so I will be able to hobble from the snowy parking lot to work next week without getting this boot all snowy and dirty. Yea!! Great boot.

Item was as described- great buy
I wear a 10.5 in men's. Fits good. Everything worked. Durable. Great support for my sprained ankle. Rather spend forty bucks for a sprain by buying this than going for medical care and spending hundreds of dollars to tell me to wear fhis. Worked in urgent care and we sold a lesser product for 150.00

It was a pretty severe (comminuted) fracture of the bone just above the ...
I fractured my foot and live here in Korea. It was a pretty severe (comminuted) fracture of the bone just above the ball of the foot (the neck of the 2nd metatarsal). The doctor didn't want to cast it but wanted me to splint it. So, I'd have a splint on 24 hours a day for 6 weeks. This spot has a kind of natural splint, so I got the boot and take it off when I'm resting or showering. I wear it out and about. This provided adequate protection, was very comfortable and easy to take off and put on. As always, consult your doctor, but this was just perfect for me. It would probably be good support for later stages of healing in a different fracture of the foot or the fibula as well.

Great vendor but the wrong product.
My doctor prescribed this boot to immobilize a foot recovering from a non-fracture injury. First thing I want to say is that the seller was amazing. When I told them that the 9-day delivery estimate was too long for someone in pain, they speeded up delivery and I received the boot in 2 days. But. It took me fifteen sweaty minutes to get it on: it's in two awkward pieces plus a lot of separate straps. It really requires two people to apply it -- even the instructions say something like "have the patient place his foot...." Once I got the inner and outer pieces coordinated, I could not tighten the straps enough to stabilize it on my narrow foot, even with socks. And it was so heavy that my foot dragged and wobbled when I tried to walk in it. (The rocker sole was helpful, though.) After fighting my way into it twice, I realized that it pressed on the painful place, and gave up on it. I suppose this boot would be useful as a cast substitute for a fracture, and that's what it was probably made for. For me, using and exercising the foot gently was a much better solution than immobilization. (I should note that when I had surgery on the other foot last year, I was given a much lighter sandal-type surgical boot with an open toe and just two Velcro straps. Easy to get into, easy to walk in.)

Exactly What We Were Looking For
I purchased this item for my husband who has a hairline fracture on his foot by his toe. It was exactly as described. . I owned a medical supply store and knew what I wanted and what I should expect. We knew how to put it on, but it would have been more helpful if the photos in the directions reflecting the strapping procedure were a little clearer. It had a rocker bottom as shown. Most others did not show that on their description and I specifically wanted that. It makes walking much easier. My husband loves the pneumatic pump. This makes it feel more cast-like and keeps his ankle in place.

Very comfortable foot stabilization
I received the boot 5 days after fracturing 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsals. As soon as I put it on, my foot felt better. Much more comfortably stabilized. The inflatable bladder really helps. And for the first time I could put a little weight on it without pain. I'd been using a different boot and a knee scooter to get around. The Orthtronix boot allowed me to switch to a cane on day 6 for short distances. I am so relieved!
