Cash and Marina
This book was worth the wait. Marina has been such a fun character in all her brothers’ books and she was even better as the fmc. She was fierce and determined. She had a quick temper and the banter between her and Cash in the beginning was epic. But what I loved the most was the way Cash saw her for who she was and the vulnerability she hid.Cash was a surprising MMC. I didn’t know if I would like him with his cocky attitude in the first chapter, but it didn’t take long to see that he was a genuinely good guy with a big heart. He loved his mom and his son unconditionally and worked hard to maintain his relationship while he was traveling for races. He was the perfect match for Marina, despite their fiery first interactions. Both Cash and Marina had some personal baggage to sort through in this book. There were several instances when my heart broke for both of them. But I loved their late night chats and their texts. I loved that they fought for each other and made time in their equally busy schedules to see each other. I loved Cash’s relationship with Cullen and the ease with which Cullen accepted Marina into his life. Heather was such a cute addition to this story. Both their families made awesome secondary characters. Even though they had both been warned to stay away from each other, I loved how easily Marina’s brothers accepted Cash into the fold.I would say this book was pretty lighthearted. There were a couple intense moments but for the most part it was light and easy to read. I loved the third act conflict and the way both Marina and Cash worked on themselves during their time apart. They were both more ready for their relationship when they came back together and it seemed like that time strengthened their bond instead of breaking it.

It was nice to see Marina Westcott as an adult, and even better to see her family supporting her in her relationships without serious threats to the man she's interested in. She's a rising star in Hollywood but really wants to get back to stage acting.Cash Ryatt is a P1 driver with a reputation for being a little bad and a little reckless off the track. The truth is that he's a sucker for his 5 year old son, with a not so good relationship with his ex - Trepidy. Unusual name, I'm really curious where S.L. Scott came up with that one. Trepidation?Cash works for the Westcott family, so even though Marina isn't actively involved, she's still part owner and therefore his boss. That doesn't really factor into their relationship though, which is a nice change from the usual boss/employee dynamic. They meet, they clash, and they figure out that what they really hate is how much they want to be together. She's trying to save face in the wake of breaking up with her cheating ex who is also her co-star in the movie they're trying to finish.Cash struggles with his feelings while he is recovering from an accident and unfortunately thinks he needs to choose saving his career over his relationship with Marina.Their love language seems to be fighting so they can make up later. Not my favorite book in the Westcott family of books, but I did enjoy it. Rating 4.25 with a good spicy level that includes a lot of love.

When I Had You by S.L Scott
Omg this was such a great book! I loved and I mean loved Cash. Everyone saw him as this bad boy but he was so much more than that. He had this other side to him that I loved. I honestly wanted to go into those pages and have a talk with Terpidy because what she would do to Cash and Cullen was not fair and should never be done no matter what or how the relationship ended. I was just glad she finally for help and did better in the end. You guys my heart literally stopped when the whole situation with Cash happened. I was scared right along with Marina and Laura and everyone else. I hated that he pushed her away but glad they worked it out. I loved this book so much I highly recommend.

Loved this book!
I loved this book! I devoured it! I love SL Scott’s writing and loved Cash and Marina. I’ve loved the Westcott books and this family. Both Cash and Marina are trying to find themselves. His career and son are his priority and she’s trying to do what’s best for her.Together they are amazing. I loved their connection, how they fall for each other and want to take care of each other, even when they aren’t supposed to be together. They both are amazing people who care.. it was a great read!

Fantastic read
When I Had You is a fantastic read. I loved this one so much. I could not get enough of this one. This is Marina's book. Marina is an actress and doesn't like the Hollywood aspect of her life and would rather be on stage. Her family is protective of her and race car drivers are off limits. Cash is a single dad trying to work his way to the top in racing. You feel all sorts of sparks fly whenever Cash and Marina are thrown together. The banter and build is wonderful as the walls start to fall. I love how Marina is with Cash's son. Cash and Marina are everything. I love the slow build and how everything evolves between them. Cash is everything Marina wasn't expecting. One of my favorites in the Westcott family series. You need to read this now.

Must Read
Marina and Cash left no crumbs. They started off as a secret, but when she needed him, he was there. This book was a page turner for sure. Locked in from beginning to end.Cash as a father, chef's kiss. Him as a man, PROTECTOR.
