Try it at least once!
General Impressions - The bag was a lot smaller than I expected. Each bag comes with a scoop inside and at first taste, I was surprised at how good it was! I like that each scoop has 26g of protein and it doesn’t have much sugar in it. It seems like they use Stevia and Monk Fruit extract for the sweetness based on the ingredient list. After having it, I don’t feel too bloated or heavy or uncomfortable, which is a plus for me since I’m quite sensitive to those. I usually drink it with only water and it tastes just fine but you can mix it with some milk if you’d prefer!Washing - I noticed it leaves a bit more residue in my bottle even when I soak it in water. Honestly as long as you have a sponge and you wash it with the sponge, it’s totally fine but don’t expect to get it completely clean with just a quick rinse.Taste: 8/10 - For a protein powder, I personally like it a lot! It’s dependent on personal preference for sure since my friend prefers the boba tea protein one but I personally like this one a bit more since the boba tea protein one has a slight sour aftertaste for me and I need quite a bit of ice for that one. For this, I can just use a bit of ice and drink it pretty smoothly.Blending/Consistency: 8.5/10 - it blends super easily imo! It doesn’t foam up or clump up as much as the other milk tea protein powders I’ve tried. It goes down pretty smoothly too!Cost: 3/10 - This is what slightly deters me from buying this more often :’) This bag includes 15 servings. 1 scoop is $2.33 and 2 scoops $4.66, and considering I drink 2 scoops a day, this is a super high cost for me especially I drink protein daily. I wish they had a bigger more affordable size option available. To compare it with boba tea protein, the bag I get is $47 with 25 servings - $1.88 per scoop/$3.76 per 2 scoops. While it’s only like $0.90 difference I feel like this amount adds up pretty fast.Overall: 8/10 - If cost isn’t an issue for you or you just want to try out a new brand, I would recommend to try at least once!

Love!
I've never tried a protein powder like this before! It really does taste like a sweet black tea and the powder mixes like a dream. I hate the gritty feeling of many powders--this one is so smooth. I made it as recommended, with one scoop in a shaker bottle with 8 oz of milk (I used oat). No chalky taste at all. If anything it's almost too sweet for my taste, or too much of the distinct stevia sweetness. But overall it's great and tastes more like a real treat drink than protein powder. It's super unique and makes me excited to try their other products!

Taste okay, but very hard to dissolve
As a bubble milk tea lover, I feel the taste is decent. It’s more on tea flavor than milk flavor, which I like. However, I don’t know if I received the aged stock, or if that’s the design. The powder is super chunky and hard to dissolve. I can still see balls of powder when I wash my mug with a lot of running water! I never had any drink powder like this. Please check out the quality before purchasing.

Tasty milk tea protein powder
As someone who loves boba/milk tea but can no longer handle the massive amount of sugar in most drinks, Lunar Lifts Milk Tea Protein Powder fills that void. High protein, low sugar/carb, and flavorful, it's a nice change from the standard protein powder flavors out there. The caffeine is nice for my morning protein shake as well. It mixes well with milk/milk alternative (I prefer almond milk) and would mix well with water if you don't want a thick drink/don't want the calories from milk.

bad batch?
not sure if I received a bad batch but this protein powder simply doesn’t dissolve. i’ve tried preparing it many different ways but every single time I get a weird residue at the top. i’ve even gone as far as to strain out the chunks but it doesn’t work. as for taste, it’s not that great. disappointing overall. :/

Tastes like milk tea
Good product that tastes a lot like regular milk tea. My only complaint is that it has the distinctive bitter aftertaste of monk fruit.

i don’t even work out and i love it
I don’t work out, but I’ve been meaning to get something easy to make and filling to satiate myself before my classes start. This drink is genuinely so good from someone who doesn’t drink a lot protein shakes.I won’t lie and say it taste ‘exactly like boba tea’ because it’s doesn’t. It taste like whey protein, artificial sweetener, and milk tea (with heavy emphasis on whey protein and artificial sweetener). But it’s a pretty good approximation for a protein powder and I wouldn’t be heartbroken if I had to use this as a replacement (and I looooove milk tea! I get boba tea almost every week).Take my tastes with a grain of salt. I’m sensitive to artificial sugar so I think it’s a little bit too sweet, but someone who doesn’t have that sensitivity or is use to drinking things with artificial sweeteners might think it taste just fine. For me, it’s nothing that a little bit more water & almond milk won’t solve. It doesn’t leave a film on my shaker like another reviewer said, but it could be just the plastic my bottle uses. (I use a blender bottle!) It definitely isn’t clumpy either. The best part of this protein powder is that there’s only 42mg of caffeine in each scoop so you can definitely have a tasty little drink with it and not worry about drinking too much caffeine :-)I won’t lie, I’ve never written a review before but I feel so passionately about this protein powder and there’s very little reviews that I think I *need* to give my stamp of approval. I don’t want anyone steering away from this company or this protein powder because there isn’t a big sample size of reviews yet. I will definitely get two more flavors from this company after this bag finishes because I enjoy this one so much.
