Dorset Short Walks
This is the second book I have bought and used in this series. They are very clear, informative and interesting. A cheap and efficient way of finding walks of up to five or six miles in an area you are visiting. Happy to recommend this one.

Jarrold short walks
We always use these guides and they are always accurate and enjoyable. Havent found any errors in them yet. Great for children though some are just too short.

Talks the talk, but can't walk the walk
This get one star because zero is not offered as an option.I bought this before a first visit to Dorset, having previously used Jarrold guides to other counties with some satisfaction. This one was used twice. The first walk chosen was described with a start-point that was simply WRONG, leading us off in the wrong direction entirely. The second walk chosen was almost complete before it led us into a field with no other exit - despite the promise of a stile - leading to a two-mile road detour.Poor, just poor.
