I’m basically a beginner at crocheting. I have dabbled around a bit, but everything I made came out crooked, missing stitches or it looked nothing like it should. I just needed a good yarn to start with and practice with and I finally found it! Before I had tension problems, my chains were horrible. They were either too big or so tight that I couldn’t get the hook in. This yarn has a little give which I need, It’s one piece so you can’t pick up extra yarn pieces, If that makes sense. I have only had this yarn for about a month or two, and I already made a jelly fish with babies. I have tried to make it so many times, but my tension was off, I’d pick up or leave out pieces of yarn, I’d skip stitches by mistake. With all the practice I had with this yarn, it taught me to make my chains with other yarn perfect! Well perfect to me!! They truly are much better. I’m actually going to order more of this yarn. If you’re a beginner and struggling with your tension or being able to see your stitches clearly, this is the yarn for you! You literally can’t go wrong with this yarn. I would recommend everyone who wants to crochet better or practice certain things (you can use this yarn over and over again and it doesn’t ruin the yarn). Again, it’s easy to see your stitches and see what your doing! Please don’t take my word for it, get yours and I can’t imagine anyone thinking they wish they didn’t buy it! I actually love this yarn so much, now, all I wanna do is crochet. Sorry for this being so long, but I really want to get how I feel about this yarn out there, to hopefully help someone who struggled as much as I did. I went from ready to quit crocheting to not wanting to stop crocheting! I hope this helps someone!!

The colors are fabulous and exactly as described. However, I was disappointed with the size of each skein. I barely had enough brown to make a small amigurumi from the Woobles book. Also, the outer package was open when it arrived in the mail. Thank goodness for the plastic bag the yarn came in.

I highly recommend the Beginners Crochet Yarn to anyone starting their crochet journey. It’s easy to work with, high-quality, and available in beautiful colors. Whether you’re learning new stitches or creating your first few projects, this yarn will make the process enjoyable and satisfying.

This is very similar to the Woobles Easy Peasy Yarn and perfect for amigurumi BUT the skeins are very small. So small, I couldn’t finish my project without ordering another set. For those familiar with Woobles, I was making Jerry the Jellyfish out of the blue yarn but ran out after making the 5th tentacle (so close, only 3 more to go)! Just something to keep in mind if you’re a beginner like me and moving away from kits or reusing your Woobles patterns. Otherwise, the yarn seems to be good quality and easy to work with, although I don’t know how well it would wash or how well it’s going to hold up over time.

Great colors, great beginner yarn, but about half the amount that I needed. I couldn’t finish a wobbles pattern w one color. Had to get creative. Order 2.

The skein or ball of yarn in the photo of this product look much larger than they are. They are truly small and single ball is insufficient to knit a cap. The length noted is likely for all of the balls together.If the deal looks to good to be believed it probably is not a good deal. Caveat emptor!

Ease of use and similarity to wobbles yarn

The colors are nice as well as the texture. However, the amount of yarn is so little that you can’t complete a single project out of one of them. Maybe for children to practice could be good.
