Overall, this is a nice addition to my idol collection. It's well made and has a nice weight to it. It does visually give you an impression of being brass or some other metal, and if you didn't know any better without holding it, you would think it is. It has felt pads on the bottom to help keep it from sliding around. Being it is made from resin and not brass, it should be very easy to keep clean by simply dusting off. I am pleased with it and consider this a good value for what you get.

Ever since my first spiritual awakening about 15 years ago, I've felt very drawn to Ganesh. Back in the day, I had bought two necklaces of Ganesha that were from Nepal. I credit those for helping me with the good fortune I had back in those days.For anyone who doesn't know, Lord Ganesh is the Hindu god of luck and good fortune. I believe he does help remove obstacles, but he's a bit of a trickster, in my experience, and will manifest wealth even if it comes at the expense of your well-being. I probably made that sound awful, but I still have a strong affinity for Ganesh and what he brings to my life. This statue is lovely! It is a great mid-sized addition to my altar.

This is quite a nice statue of Ganesha. While not brass, it does have the look of brass and is fairly heavy. If you would like a statue of Ganesha but do not want to break the bank going for actual brass, this one is recommended. I thought some of the details on it could have been rendered a little better to see them hence the 4 stars but still, it looks very nice. Packed well and arrived with nothing broken.
