PROS-I love that the water filtering reservoir is almost the same size as the bottom so you don't have to fill it and stand around waiting to add more water. I fill it then set it back on the counter.-silicone base so it doesn't slip.- good tasting water.- excellent and responsive customer service-less plastic wasteCONS- if you don't have the silicone gasket around the filter lined up right, tap water will leak through and mix in with the filtered water.- the filter particles can clog and slow down the water flow. I then have to take the filter out and give it a good shake. I can see a 2.0 version incorporating a paper filter packet to keep these particles out of the drain holes or perhaps it sometimes becomes too dense like soil without good aeration.-FILTERS FOR THE CLEAN WATER ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. this could be a bigger issue but I will try to be resourceful and innovative with other brands if I have to when it comes time to buy a new one in a week.Overall, I like the quality, build, and concept of this filter pitcher compared to Brita. It's handsome and I like have my water in glass.

I am fortunate to live somewhere that has excellent tasting tap water, so I can't speak to taste. However our water is very hard and really gunks up my Ovente electric kettle, coating it with that white calcium and who knows what. Now with the Phox water filter my kettle stays perfectly clear! I was afraid I was going to have to get a reverse osmosis system which I really didn't want to do, they're such water wasters, but this little beauty has solved my problem. Who knew it could be so simple?

Just purchased but does the job great and like the idea of no filling land fills will with plastic filters.
