The liquor flows down the bottle thru the glass block and out the valve creating bubbles that flow back up! You have to see in person to appreciate the beauty with the included LED back-light. Very solid and flexible design that can be chilled in refrigerator and also includes a cap if you prefer to use without the bottle. It's a perfect way to keep your favorite liquor right at your fingertips. Glasses fit nicely under the spout but it also slides very smoothly across the bar or counter top. This dispenser is substantial and sturdy as it weighs in at almost 10 lbs. It keeps the liquor almost airtight so you can tastefully display your bottles full or empty. Enjoy!
