This is a great product to add to potting soil for house plants to keep it well drained.

Worth the money.

I added this natural charcoal to my glass terrarium to help keep the soil healthy and prevent mold. I have succulents in it and have to have good drainage so added a layer under the soil. Plants are doing good. I will increase the amount when I do maintanence and change the soil. It is pricey per pound but worth it if the results are good.

dissolved in my soil in just a few days, didn't see any hulls just the paper outer layers. Very expensive for a byproduct being sold as an amendment

I like that the bills are just hulls, no extra dust and debris mixed in. They look clean and fresh and are of a fairly uniform size and color. They seem to be appropriately priced. They're vacuum sealed so don't take up much space. I've never used rice hulks as fertilizer/compost but gonna give it a try. Thought I'd shore up my cucumbers since they seem to be constantly in need of more nourishment - maybe they'll like rice! I'll get back to you down the line.
