Review of: Jastown Wooden Hidden Block Puzzle,Hiding Blocks Montessori Toy for 3 4 5 6 Years Old,Educational Black and White Montessori Puzzle Games Cubes for Kids,Geometric Shape Matching GameThe concept of this game/puzzle is a good one, tried and tested over the years. I liked the fact that the puzzle cards were “graded” which allows you to start with shapes that are easy to copy and progress to shapes were it is a little harder to see which shapes go where.However, the game is not of great quality. The packaging makes it look cheap – a thick cardboard box that doesn’t quite close and looks like it would be at home in a value retailer for not much more than a pound. The cards are thin and held together with a rubber band.The blocks are well finished, with no rough edges but I did find them very slippery. Given this is aimed at very young children I think that this could be a issue when they come to pick them up and move them around the frame. I’m not sure why they are so slippery – perhaps it’s the coating?Having looked at the product information there is another version of this game – a double sided “race” game which I think is probably a better option (although for slightly older children).In terms of value, I think that this is a bit on the expensive side at just under £9 at time of review, and I would have expected it to be priced around the £5 mark.ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE VIA THE AMAZON "VINE" PROGRAMME, I VALUE MY INTEGRITY SO ALWAYS GIVE HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS.FOR ME:A 4* PRODUCT IS GOOD - It does everything it says it should.A 5* PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT – It does everything it should and MORE or PARTICULARLY WELL or is EXCELLENT VALUELOWER STAR RATINGS ARE GIVEN WHERE THERE IS A FLAW, A DESCRIPTION IS MISLEADING or THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY STATED.

This is suggested for kids ages 3 and up.. Not sure a 3 year old can get some of these, we struggled with some of the higher numbered puzzles, either I'm not a clever as a 3 year old (more than likely) or these are surprisingly hard.Good fun and 80 different puzzles to try.Well made, good idea, would have liked it to come with a box, rather than just the base.Bits can get easily lost as no storage solution with it. wouldn't have taken much to have 2 of the wooden bases, instead of just the one.My 12 year old loved it.Would recommend, but not for the ages it recommends, as they could easily put pieces in their mouths.Nice price, easy to use and fund to play.Marked it down as it didn't have a storage box

Also ich hab als Erwachsener tatsächlich ein paar Sekunden gebraucht und dachte erst, dass da Teile fehlen, bis mir dann klar wurde, dass man ja quasi eine Farbe unter der anderen "verstecken" kann, womit man auf der Oberfläche mehr weiß oder schwarz im Verhältnis zur anderen Farbe erzeugen kann.. Sobald man das raus hat, ist das Spiel eigentlich lächerlich einfach. Aber für Kinder wohl weiterhin spannend. Also es gibt eben nicht nur die eine Lösung, auf die man kommen muss, sondern eben sehr sehr viele Möglichkeiten, wie man die Steine anordnen kann, um das Zielbild zu erzeugen. Hätte man vielleicht durch eine andere Auswahl von Steinen mit komplexeren Formen schwieriger machen können.Qualitativ ist das Material aber sehr gut, die Steine passen gut in die Form und rutschen nicht raus oder fallen um, also das passt alles. Fühlt sich auch hochwertig genug an für so ein Spielzeug.Also in Summe passt das, aber das Spielprinzip ist schon eher für Kinder gedacht und es gibt ähnliche Knobelspiele, die auch für Erwachsene spannend sind.

Un juego muy práctico y entretenido, la verdad es que me encantan los puzles y este tipo de juegos y no pude resistirme a este, es muy entretenido y cuenta con diferentes niveles de dificultad.Se recomienda para mayores de tres años, los bloques están fabricados de madera de lata calidad, están bien terminados, lijados y pintados por lo que no cuentan con astillas ni nada parecido: Es de pequeño tamaño lo que lo hace perfecto para poder llevártelo de viaje o guardarlo fácilmente sin que ocupe mucho espacio.Trae consigo diferentes plantillas para poder realizar los diferentes dibujos con diferentes niveles de dificultad como ya he comentado antes, haciendo que no sea un juego simple o monótono, algo que a mi me encanta.Tienen buena relación calidad precio y un precio bastante económico.

Die Teile sind eher klein und für 6-7jährige eher schwierig

Compré esto para mi hija de cuatro años y no le interesó en absoluto. El juego tiene un buen concepto y la idea es buena, pero parece que a los niños pequeños no les interesa tanto. Quizás porque no hay colores. Me gusta que sea de madera y que las cartas vayan de fáciles a más difíciles. Volveré a ofrecerle los bloques dentro de unos meses o un año a mi hija, tal vez le interese más entonces.
