I am a teacher and loved the idea of the student's being able to see this timer in real time. Unfortunately, though cute and magnetic, it is a bit hard to see. The alarm is loud enough for them to hear which is why I give it an overall rating of a 4. I do think that if it's something personal that you want to use at home, it is worth it!

Recently had a baby and was using to time how long bottles were good for. Was useful but broke within a month of using. Sleek look, matched our stove perfectly.

First of all the timer capabilities are pretty good although the screen could be a little brighter. One major con of this timer is when I try turning it to set the time, the magnets are not strong enough to keep it in place which makes it slide around. The beep noise is also not loud enough to hear. Overall it’s okay but needs some improvement.

The media could not be loaded.  It's big enough to see the numbers and in dark places. The sound is loud but not too loud. I do wish it was really loud. It have 3 volume settings, Mute, low and high. It's easy to use. It's magnetic and only requires 2AAA batteries. Just turn the timer and it changes to your settings.

I use to use my mobile phone timer/stop watch before. I had to unlock my phone then naviagate to clock app and then select timer/stopwatch.now with this device it will be quicker and it has memory function which will save my previous set timer and when i click set button it automatically setting to previous timer time. I can adjust alaram sound as well. Thats nice to have.Also this device doeant come with battery, i had to order 2 new AAA batteries for this device. FYI

I always like new interesting timers, and I occasionally play turn based party games that could benefit from an easy-to-use, easy-to-read timer. This one looked interesting so I ordered it. Here are my thoughts.Pros:- Easy to read. The large, attractive, and backlit multi-segment display is easy to read from almost any angle unless there is a glare from a nearby light source.- Easy to use. The interface for the timer is pretty simple. Countdown time is set by pressing the "set" button which is effectively the top of the front surface to select minutes or seconds, and the outer edge is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise to change the values up or down as necessary. The timer can be set up to 199 minutes and 59 seconds. The timer is started simply by pressing the play/pause button which is effectively the lower half of the front surface. When the timer reaches zero, the display flashes, and the timer beeps (custom volume settings controlled by a switch on the back,) and you simply press the face to stop the beeping. To use the count-up timer, simply press the play/pause button when the counter is already at zero. It will begin counting up, and can be stopped be again pressing the play/pause button.- Convenient display options. The timer has a folding stand and so can be tilted to face you when sitting on a table or counter (in addition to laying flat.) The timer also has built-in magnets so it can be held on any metal surface like an oven or refrigerator, etc.Cons:- The timer values cannot easy be cleared or automatically reset to a previously-used value. If you stop a timer (up or down,) you have to use the "set" button and the outer dial to reset the timer to the desired values. This makes it not great as a "game turn" timer as you can't easily re-use a set timer length like 2 minutes. You have to change the timer value manually each time you use it.- The base is pretty slippy, whether you have the timer sitting on a flat horizontal surface, or stuck to a vertical surface using the built-in magnets. So when attempting to set your desired time with the outer dial, you frequently have to use two hand to secure the timer while you adjust the settings. (This could easily be solved by the manufacturer with better magnets and a rubberized back surface.)- The surface is shiny/glossy, and shows fingerprints easily, and it shows glare from nearby light sources when laying flat and viewed from several angles.- When you stop the count-up timer by clicking the play/pause button during an active timer session, clicking the play/pause button again does NOT continue counting up. Instead, it starts counting DOWN from the previous time. Effectively pausing / restarting a timer ALWAYS counts DOWN. There is no way to pause a running timer and re-start counting "up."- Even at its loudest setting the beep for the timer alarm is pretty soft. I wouldn't count on hearing this from another room, for example.This is a nice dedicated kitchen timer for typical household uses.

The timer function works as it should. The display is easy to read. However, the magnet adhesive gave way, and the timer fell off of my fridge, crashing to the floor, causing quite the disturbance in the middle of the night. I can easily fix it with some superglue, but it would have been nice if I didn't need to repair a fairly new purchase.

This timer is perfect for all of the cooking I do in the kitchen and is easy to use
